After almost two months of silence, I come back with a new and simple concept: SoMuch because all the content of this set I like it SoMuch. A short mix of one hour to an hour and a half max, tempo less than or equal to 100bpm, quality music, an eclectic tracklist, tailor-made transitions, snare drums that slam, as always guitars, bewitching synths, and voices because we are made to communicate. Music from the Past, the Present and Future.

Revolution

Karla Lynch is a DJ based in Paris and she is a member of Human Magic Records. Her stage name refers to the eponymous filmmaker and his strange and dreamlike art.

In her sets, expect a concoction of Indie Dance with tribal rhythms and Dark Disco mixing synths and rock sonorities. At nightfall, she explores darker paths with EBM and Trance influences. At the crossroads of Mexico and Berlin, she takes her audience on a psychedelic and dancing journey.

She is set to release her first track this year and will be part of the famous Marvellous Island festival line-up taking place in May 2023.

As a transcendent radiance of faithful energy in the many forms of disco and house, Colombian artist Kabinett breaks the rules and challenges himself every time through embellished productions and DJ sets with the only purpose of finding himself through art and giving what is "right" back to the world as a life purpose.

Founder of vinyl house label Nómada Records next to established artist such as Felipe Gordon & Joint nine, his mentors, Kabinett have fed him enough to develop a full curation career working for Kaputt Club. El Coq & W Hotels. where he has helped to develop an identity for each which as of today has only enriched the local scene.

More recently as head of Kaputt.wav, his new label, which is now house of artist such as Curses. Iñigo Vontier, Theus Mago. Dombrance, Damon Jee. among many more, promises to keep growing and develope music overseas.

As of his personal artist career, have count on releases in labels such as Glitterbox, Midnight Riot Records, Partyfine, Platino Records, Duro, Playground, Sonido Moderna and more recently in Prins Thomas own label. Intersnajonal which will release his third solo EP in summer 2023.

Ludmila Fuks, originally from La Plata, currently resides in CABA, Argentina. She started her music career as a producer in 2020, with releases on the emerging Mexican label Kyma Komplex and the established Argentinean platform Logia. With a background in live and hybrid sets, she recently started exploring the DJ format. He finds strong inspiration in Indie Rock and Experimental Music. Having an aesthetic influenced by the dark atmospheres of Techno, Ludmila has a personal proposal that finds its place in the Indie Dance genre, adding acid textures and percussive elements. Her academic background is in Political Science and she is currently a PhD student in Philosophy, so she combines both fields to propose a common point between dance and thought.

Bonnie Spacey had her musical light bulb moment after hearing Miss Kittin & The Hacker for the first time. It was the turn of the millennium and this introduction led her to dive deeper and deeper into electronic music. 

When she eventually decided to pursue it herself, as a DJ and producer, she began to pair these sounds with another of her formative influences, her intrinsic love of guitars, which was passed down through her guitarist father. She explores the intersection of these sounds though indie dance, heady techno and dark disco, in both her DJ sets and her own output.

As a space to share her own music and those of likeminded artists, in 2019 she launched Critical Monday, a label dedicated to a club-ready concoction of techno and rock-orientated music. So far she's welcomed the likes of Curses, Damon Jee, Shubostar, Tony Y Not, Günce Aci and Mala Ika to the imprint, all of whom share her love of these potent sonics. 

As she jets off to Mexico on a tour, we locked her in for a mix which travels through whirring, driving wave, indie dance and hypnotic techno.

Bio :
Born at the end of the 60s and rocked by psychedelic music throughout his childhood, he went to punk then to new wave, post-punk, cold-wave, industrial & new beat until his departure for London where he discovered Acid-House & Techno music and the first raves at the end of the 80s.

DJing in the early '90s when he arrived in Toulouse (FR). Resident in various clubs and pubs in the pink city, he played here and there in France and in Europe.

Pissed off not finding the records they liked, he and his partner; Daphné, created Jellyfish Records, an international vinyl record distribution company, and record shop. During all these years, they met and worked with the cream of American and European underground electronic music producers. They stopped everything when illegal downloading arrived and killed the vinyl record market in the early 2000s.

He returned to his first love of psychedelic rock while listening to electronic music, until some time ago - Deciding to go back behind the decks, catching up with new music with yesterday's influences, integrating guitar riffs and with a rock, trance and trippy sound... After all these years emersed in music his influences are therefore as rich as they are varied.

There is no music without melodies, no melodies without harmonies and they are the ones that give goosebumps when played at the right time.

He has shared stages with names like Daft Punk, Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, Ricardo Lyte (KLF), Derrick May, Romanthony, David Holmes, Francesco Farfa, Paul Cooper, David Carretta,  Colin Dale, Craig Walsh, Trevor Rockcliffe, Lassigue Benthaus,  Zen Paradox, Lumu Kanda...
