In a genre dominated by men and with only 1% of all producers being female, alternative rock artist/producer SMITH continues to smash down walls and preconceptions. In the last year alone she’s been nominated for a Grammy as a writer/producer on the Jack Harlow album as well as become the only female to ever have a Billboard Radio Top 40 hit at both Alternative (SCAB) and Urban (Poppin’ Them Tags).

SMITH has over 75 million streams worldwide and her 3 previous alternative releases (Puff Puff, SCAB and Statue) all hit the Billboard Top 25 best selling track charts as well as charted in the Top 40 at Alternative Radio. Maybe it’s my programming.  Maybe I’m messed up and tomorrow it’ll all be different.  It’s hard to know what might happen.  Hopefully I won’t be this afraid forever.  I just do what I can.
