This song decribes how hard the struggle is when no one believes in you! Its probably one of my favorites because it came off the top of my head when I first heard the beat and recorded it. I can remember always having these big ideas and no one wanting to support unless I shelled out cash when in most situations that wasn't possible. Then as soon as I started working with major artists and figures around Atlanta the friendships went through the roof. MetroBoomin killed the track so salute to him!

Smittick Wesson is in constant battle between the bad and good in his life. Being from the streets but also knowing how good life can be on the other side he's only trying to keep balance on this real life seesaw. Being so you'll hear about 50/50 of the good and bad from him. He mixes his battles with sex addiction and his past life in the streets with the everyday struggle of being around his hood constituents as he tries to stay on the straight path. The devil is never far and you're only a target if you're a threat.

Smittick Wesson is the voice of the real with his main message being change in the hoods and poverty stricken areas across the United States and abroad. He plans to come out with a few ignorant tracks only to completely switch it up with a "Tupac"-esque message once he gains enough fans.



 Smittick Wesson, Mr. "Last of the Real", Mr "WallStreet", Mr "Been There, Done That, Don't Do That", like many others, has lived that street life, seen his friends and family die and get locked up, only to realize this is not the move for survival. If people want to be written out of history then they'll continue to live the way they're living. 

"I'm not going to promote to the kids to sale drugs or be thugs. That's not real. I might as well be a paid employee of the prison industrial complex promoting that my young brothers and sisters follow that lifestyle. My hardest challenge is going to be gaining the ears of those already lost. Most people who get stuck in their ways have the hardest times coming out. Usually it takes a significant life event for people to wake up and realize they're on the wrong path. I just hope I can be put in a position to be that person who gets to them early on to possibly prevent the bad decisions they may make.



Smittick Wesson is notably seen riding alongside Rocko da Don of A1 Recordings, Future of Freebandz, or T.I. of Hustlegang as he's a veteran behind the music scenes with his management/production company @CreativeVuze. He notes that he only started his production company because he wanted to "sneak" in the industry not knowing how to maneuver the snap music popular when he started rapping in 2006 at Gordon College under the group name "Melton Boyz" as Jmillz.
