Handel’s Tochter Zion is a much-loved Christmas carol in German speaking countries, whereas in the rest of the world such as England or the Netherlands it’s heard more around Easter time. Andreas Ludwig Schulte has arranged this classic for Harmony band in a festive style.

Dieses Pianostück von mir widme ich meiner ehemaligen Klavierlehrerin Arietta Eberstadt, die am 09.12.2020 von dieser Welt gegangen ist. Sie war es, die meiner Liebe zur Klaviermusik Raum und Struktur gab und die mein Talent und meine Kreativität förderte. Soviel verdanke ich ihr. Mit diesem Stück möchte ich ihr ein letztes Mal "Danke" sagen für all das, was ich von ihr gelernt und mitgenommen habe und was in mir dank ihr wunderbares gewachsen ist. Happy Piano Day 2021!
