Relaxed slow tempo instrumental based on a line I played on my 50 year old fender dual showman reverb giving this very special slightly overdriven sound. (The solo guitars were played over a soldano preamp)

This track was written for an art project "speech of tree" consisting of a projection of a face on a tree by j.p. francova. It reminds a bit of some experimental tracks of David Bowie published on several albums.

Another song from my record "done?" I did in about 1998. It´s about solitude. Again I spiced it up with some "real" samples: A thunderstorm during the recording an my brother playing piano during a visit at my place.

This track is according to it´s title: Fast guitars, fast distorted bass and a bit like Queens of Stone Age on ...speed.

After a long day of working I was feeling exhausted and typed into a screenreader "Oh man, I'm really devastated today" and played the chords that came into my mind at that point. Choosing a russian voice and playing the "vocals" in reverse every now and then in the song gave the "vocals" an additional drive. 
Since then everytime I feel exhausted or devastated I grab my guitar and my hands play automatically these chords...

All songs of this album have been written and produced between 2012 and 2016. The style varies between trip hop numbers like the title track, hardcore/heavy stuff like "who is this", instumental pieces like "the wishbone" and more or less funky style in "everything I said".
Everything you hear is composed, played (except some drum-loops) and produced by A. Schräpler. Only "heard - hurt" is sung by Doris.

Energetic track in the style of propellerheads mixing electronic sounds with wahwah guitar and brass ensemble, spiced with samples of donald trump. The mid-part however reminds more of some daft punks songs.

SMM is a one-man-one-computer-project. After many years of taking focus on electronic music, I am concentrating more on playing real instruments again the recent years.
