Next up in our mix series is Garçon, co-founder of Amenthia Recordings, and an important figure both in the local underground scene, and in the experimental psychedelic scene globally - with a unique fondness for rhythmically adventurous sounds from the outer edges of the electronic spectrum. 

This mix dives into experimental atmospheres, rhytmical excursions and trippy soundscapes - which shows not only his wide record collection, but most of all an elaborate web of synapses between the different moods and textures. He teases music gradually and deliberately, layering hypnotic grooves atop one another and subtly modulating the mood, with this delayed gratification leading to a far greater payoff.

cassegrain [ Mikrowave, Prologue ] Berlin / Thessaloniki

Cassegrain originated via a chance meeting at the Red Bull music Academy in Barcelona. The project explores the ground between dark, raw techno and UK influenced sounds. For the A side of their debut 12" on Mikrowave, the pair worked with dubstep luminary Benga, who provided his vocals for the first time. Cassegrain's second 12" ('Dropa' EP) is out now on one of the most essential labels operating within techno, Prologue, and has been gaining support across the board from the likes of Speedy J, Lucy, Cio D'Or, Edit Select, Peter Van Hoesen, Terence Fixmer and many more.

Dino Sabatini [ Outis / Prologue ] Italy

Dino Sabatini is recognized as the inciter of Italian techno scene and main character of labels such as: Elettronica Romana – Prologue – Strooscopic Artefacts – Sonic Groove -
Also known as part of the duo Modern Heads, 2006/2007 he released may sussessful Eps: “Paper Toys ”, “Ordinary Madness” and “Gliding ” are just a few pearls of a style which is now one the most followed and have been inspiring many artists from the international techno scene. His solo productions mark the birth of a new techno concept that leaves no room for labels or definitions. The continual search for new soundscapes and    complex rhythms followed by hypnotic sequences and harmonic twists make Dino Sabatini unique in his way of making techno.
The double EP “Daughter of Phorcys” on Prologue spread strong signal immediately catched by the best techno clubs and dj’s worldwide. Coming to now days Dino Sabatini’ last a constant seek for new musical boundaries led him to create his own label Outis in order to express other artistic tensions and needs. Outis’ first release “Modulated Waves EP”  collecting complete consensus among the international techno scene. 
During Autumn 2012 and after a whole year of research “Shaman’s Path”, his first concept album, has come to life on the label he was kicking off,  Prologue.
“Shaman’s Path” could be considered in every aspect a work that goes beyond the classical canons of  techno and is also the confirmation of an artist who has no boundaries.
