Dj Surgeles (Kole Leijen) is a true musician with a lot of energy. He started digging into his parent’s records collection at the age of five and at the young age of eight his sister introduced him to House music. Soon after that, young Surgeles got his first set of turntables as a present for his birthday and started visiting regularly his local record dealer. While after a couple of years he started producing his own dark, deep and swerving Techno. 

In 2005, while attending a Jeff Mills’s show, Surgeles managed to give a demo CD to The Wizard. The very next day Surgeles received a personal mail from Jeff Mills claiming that his music sounded great and that it inspired him to let Surgeles make a mix for his Purpose Maker Label. Two weeks later Surgeles’ mix was on Jeffs Mills’ Axis Records’ website for the 10th anniversary of the all-time Techno anthem “The Bells”.

Later that year, during the Amsterdam Dance Event, Surgeles won a competition hosted by Dave Clarke for the best produced track and was than picked to play on Dave Clarke’s White Noise Radio show on 3FM Radio. Around 2007 Kole started throwing his own parties called ‘Civilized?” at the legendary Escape club in Amsterdam. While 2009 marked the beginning of his career as record-label boss, as he launched his brainchild: ‘Underground Freedom Fighters (UFF) Records’.

Ever since, the collaborations with Jeff Mills kept on flowing and Surgeles’ consecration came when Jeff asked him to make a compilation for his label, ‘Something In The Sky’. In 2017 Jeff entrusted DJ Surgeles to take care of “the Betty Hill Case”, a 12” inspired by the story and the interviews of an American couple, who were allegedly abducted by extraterrestrials in a rural portion of New Hampshire in 1961. 

Since then, DJ Surgeles has released 8 releases and another few DJ mixes at Axis Records, which is the most from all external Axis artist of the world!

Deepbass was introduced to the scene in 2009 his music is best described as deep, dark, atmospherical techno.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland. His passion for electronic music started from a young age where he would spend his weekends in record stores searching for music, he discovered artists like Speedy J and Jeff Mills who really opened his eyes to the world of techno. He started producing music in 2008 and from there his sound evolved, always minimalistic, elements of ambient, hypnotic rhythms and deep rolling bassline's. In 2010 he launched his label Informa Records as a platform to express himself and to explore further into his brand of deep techno.
The label is going strong has now had to opportunity to work with artists such as Modern Heads, Cio D'Or, Mark Broom, Edit Select Echologist, Ness, Hironori Takahashi, nAX_Acid and many more high quality artists. Deepbass has had a string of releases on some great labels such as Soma Records, Dynamic Reflection, Aconito Records and Planet Rhythm. He has a number of live shows and Informa showcases under his belt which have taken him to some of the worlds best clubs including Space, Ibiza & Berghain, Berlin.

Manuel Fogliata, aka Nuel, is part of a new wave of techno coming from Italy, led by studio partner Donato Dozzy. Togheter Nuel and Dozzy have released two highly sought after Aquaplano EPs, now selling for hundreds of Euros in Discogs. The Aquaplano sounds explores hypnotic techno and meditative ambient in equal measure. Nuel is continuing to expand his musical horizons, with his latest EP explorig electro and drum and bass. In late 2011 he will release his debut album on Further Records , a beautiful and deeply introspective work.

Born and educated in Rome, the young Italian producer Luigi Tozzi was strongly influenced by the roman scene and its local artists, many of whom gave a crucial contribution to the birth and growth of the deep techno sound. Luigi’s music has so far been released on the established label Dynamic Reflection as well as setting a regular cooperation with the very promising and mysterious techno label Hypnus Records from Sweden, where he found a platform that inspired him to develop his style. Melting the tribal and hypnotic elements of techno with the atmospheric and emotional side of ambient music he is making his own path in the world of electronics. Recently this has gotten him in contact with Dino Sabatini which led to the opportunity to join Outis Music that has released well known artists such as Modern Heads, Brando Lupi, Donato Dozzy among others.

Ness [Mono Records, Prologue] Italy

Ness became interested in electronic music in the late 90's. Few years later he started djing, taking inspiration from various genres going from trance to pure experimentation. The interest in music led him to attend various courses as audio engineer or the conservatory of his hometown in Italy for some years. The need to express himself through music led him to experiment and research, the result in recent years that reflects better his music is increasingly focused on the atmosphere that is intertwined with a hypnotic rhythm.Since 2009 he founded his own label Mono Records that take the name from his own record store where he used to work since 2007 with his friend Bettosun; and releases music in labels such as Prologue, Synewave, Sonata and Varianz. The experience gained through the years leads to define his DJ sets that are characterized by a strong array of Techno and House at the same time.

The simple attempt of defining it ends up bridling even the farthest idea of prismatic production. But what's inside Outpost – which prolifically unravels – is also the result of an immense study. These are seeds whose mysterious growth cannot be told, but just enjoyed. The journey is concrete and pulses in the nerves of who's in it. It departs from internal dimensions in the shape of a (just apparently) distant Earth; it moves between the broken rhythmics of hypnotic loops. And, finally, lands to resonate as a new, aesthetic awareness; as a new approach to the sound matter.

Bio : 
Minjoon was fascinated by the joining of his painting awareness and techno sound. His theme consciousness is to find an ambiguous equilibrium point based on the extreme paradoxes of "Unfamiliar familiar" and "Autumn aesthetics". And it departs from pre-sound conversation. Ambiguous shapes and colors in images are not a visual sense, but appeal to another sense of energy.
Sound becomes another material with various colors in him. He likes to solve the story of music by the color and texture felt in the sound without entangled configuration of music. The sound that seems to be suppressed gives a feeling like falling into heavy water, but at a certain moment it is crying for the structural escape of the structure. Music is throwing a quiet question while finding a balance that never exists as another means of exploring his theme consciousness.
