Spotted is the new Guerrilla Bizarre mix series, it will be dedicated to underlooked selectors from all over the world who we think deserve more attention and support. The series will not be bound to any style or genre, our picks will focus on their quality and give complete freedom of expression.

We kick off our Spotted Series with a stunning vinyl-only dancefloor podcast from Telva. Pamplona (Spain) born DJ and producer, she developed her sound through the years while traveling around Europe. Based in Berlin, Telva is constantly exploring, shaping her sound with no boundaries and working on her first album for a few years now. Enjoy this smooth blend of electro beats, vintage sounds and trippy vocals.

Steffen’s visits in Prague are usually quite memorable. Breathing in a fresh vibe on the anniversary evening in the frontyard, magnetising the early morning crowd at Planeta, smoking out the backstage rave; he always know what records to pack when coming to Prague. Recently he made his mark when opening a night before Aleksi Perälä’s live performance at Lunchmeat Teknologi in May 2023, where he filled the floor instantly with a selection of soft and heavy techno. To refresh the memory, we’re publishing an extract from the set as the 29th episode of our podcast.

This collection consists entirely of live recordings, gleaned from many hundreds of hours spent listening to live concert recordings of the band. A good deal of the songs are 2-track recordings taken from the Dick’s Picks series of releases, although some more hi-fi multi-track recordings, like the hallowed Europe ‘72 version of Morning Dew, are included. From MARICAS we want to support our local and international community of artists, as well as create content for all our queer fam that is isolated in their homes. We know will get out of this together very soon. In the meantime, we have create this new digital platform called HOUSE OF MARICAS: the art of staying at home, where we will be doing live streamings, digital content, virtual exhibitions, challenges and interviews. Here we will be showcasing different queer / music / art content, created with a bunch of very talented artists / activists, for you to enjoy at home. The aim of this, apart of creating entertainment and learnings for our isolations, is to support local artists, that are losing their jobs due to this crisis. We created this platform to try to help our family of queer artists, that's why we kindly ask you, that if you enjoy our content and can afford it, to please make a donation to our paypal account. This donations will be divided entirely among all the artists involved.
