I got this set from the Orlando DJ Legends page on my space. This Is a beautiful hypnotic mix that is reflective of the epic sets DJ Stylus used to mix at the Abyss nightclub in downtown Orlando, FL from 93-94 even though most of these tracks are from the late 90's. See my other mixes for sets from the early 90's.

In anticipation of the next release on Eaux, a mini-album collaboration with Polygonia entitled "Dermatology," I have decided to release a rare recording of one of my live sets, taken from this year's Mostra Festival, located in the historic Montjuïc Castle overlooking Barcelona. Performing in the evening in this majestic location with the open-minded Mostra audience, I felt especially free to let this set unfold even more slowly and patiently than normal. Some of the material is taken from the upcoming release with Polygonia, so it also functions as a sort of hidden sneak preview. I hope you enjoy the journey :)

Next up in our mix series is Shoal, a Dutch producer and DJ who recently relocated to Prague. Known for his hypnotic, emotionally layered sound, Shoal crafts deep, transportive journeys through trippy textures, modular synthesizers, and rolling rhythms. A core member of the ISOTOOP collective, he’s performed at leading underground spots like De School, Tresor, and Ratherlost. His releases on labels like Tikita, Harmony Recordings, Monument, our own Ute.Rec, and most recently Animalia, continue to expand and refine his unique sonic voice within the scene.

In this mix, Shoal delivers a 1.5-hour live set full of acid-dripping techno, spacey atmospheres, and heads-down minimalism. It’s a slow-burning, carefully building mix that captures the raw live sounds and subtle depth that define his sound. A live-set working just as much the mind as the body.

Hubble [ Sleep Is Commercial / Haknam / Archipel ] Germany

In early 2007 Giuseppe Marchegiano began to produce under the pseudonym of Hubble, shortly after the release of his first vinyl on Moulton label, he began to gather support from the underground and techno scene in Berlin and on international level.

His productions and tracks are considered precious rarities as they are only printed on limited edition series, in fact he likes to consider his works as tools to be played by close friends not necessairly intended to be officially released. Hubble’s “long hypnotic journeys” as they call them are available only to a lucky few.
Hubble, with his floating Techno sound and Pyschedelic atmospheres has fronted a number of parties in Berlin among which stands his own triptic of parties thrown @ Berghain Kantine and called Forget Me Not which is also his debut album title released in September 2010 by Pheek on the Canadian Label Archipel.
In 2009 he began his collaboration with Sleep Is Commercial, he is now one of the crew organizing really intense Techno parties in Berlin and grooving people into underground locations around Europe being his music a landmark for the psychedelic groovy sound of the label.
He runs the label’s limited vinyl series called sic ltd, it began with “Kirks and Ghosts” and “La Estrella” out on Summer 2010, followed by “Focus” and “Tribute02” out on April 2011.
Hubble is also a frequent guest in some of the most important locations in Berlin such as Club der Visionaere, Watergate, Arena, Bar25, Suicide Circus.

Summer 2011 will mark his debut on some important labels in the European Techno scene: Hacknam with the tracks “Floating Souls” and “Sand” out on May 2011; Prologue with a new project called Blue..
February 2011 Hubble has begun to work on his second album which will be called ‘Reverse’ and that will be released by Sleep Is Commercial..
