What a Mix! Like everytime when i hear something from you, Chris! I heart this mix the first time last year; but this year it´s for me another feeling for this music. It goes straight into my soul, my heart. Wow! It´s so exciting to come to - for me - new artists and track´s. Exploring the deep, wide universe of good music stuff. This kind of ambient-music fits exactly to my taste... A tracklist "could be" good, but i think it´s the better way to explore all for your own. Either you can be lucky or not. It´s more exciting. One little help you could give me: What interpret at this point? :) :) Please.......... Hoping i can see and hear you in 2020 live. Have a nice rest of the year 2019! The music connects us - ALL! This set was recorded on the 15.12.21 at Pescheria in Rome with 40 people audience. Most of the tracks were played at the "wrong" speed.

This is a live recording, captured at Ego club in Düsseldorf, June 5 1999.  The music has been created with a self written step sequencer, the PX-18, controlling  a basic sample player and effects engine, all done in MaxMSP, running on a Powerbook G3. The step sequencer had some unique features, e.g. the ability to switch patterns independently in each track, which later became an important part of a certain music software.

I found the recording on a backup disk today. It has not been edited or mastered. During the first 20 minutes of the set, and before the 'encore' the Monolake CD 'Gobi' is playing in the background.

Rising from our collective slumber we embrace the new year refreshed and ready for new sonic territory. Our first guest of the year, Occa, hails all the way from Japan where he has made a name for himself throwing parties in Sapporo and DJiing at established events such as Labyrinth Festival and Future Terror. After meeting him and seeing what we deemed one of our favorite sets of 2022, it was only natural to invite him to contribute to UNRUSH. His style is expansive and possesses an air of experimental elegance, combining sonorous harmonies with washes of nocturnal noise and faint, mesmerizing melodies. We hope this mix will bring you into the new year with grace and calm.
