Smokescreen Sound System is a collective of musicians, artists and DJ's who play and promote deep underground house. Smokies started back in the earl 90s in Sheffield, UK and over the years have put on hundreds of club nights and free parties up and down the country making a name for themselves for their bassy rig and chunky tunes. Artists such as Inland Knights, The Littlemen, Special Interest, Kinky Movement and Brown all cut their teeth at Smokescreen parties and can still be found Dj'ing at Smokescreen nights at The Maze in Nottingham and various parties around the UK.
