Born and raised in Indonesia, @omarjoesoef-1 built this EP with samples of old records of ethnic music that he has found in an abandoned radio station on Java island. Named Lokananta, it is one of the first radios setting up in Indonesia in the 50’s. The recordings in Omar’s EP come from rituals and meditative chants of one of the last tribes still living in the ancient way, completely disconnected from the modern world.

Snippets Full EP - Omar Joesoef - Rituals Of Gorontalo [HRDF014]

A compilation "FEF RMX" with remixed tracks of the Lithuanian duo Far East Flight will be released on the label Electric Shapes on June 17.

For this premiere we picked a shining trans remix by our longtime mate Konstantin Isaev aka Rambal Cochet. It's perfect for the morning dance floor in the forest. At least you can easy imagine it.

The Cowbell Is For The Teacher (Original Mix) 

It's safe to say that the mystery theme was on Etane's mind while making this whole EP and this song is no exception. One of the most fascinating things about this piece is that the name of the song includes a cowbell and the fact that it was actually used in this track and even emulated using other instruments throughout the whole track is just beyond alluring. Not to mention that the title "The cowbell is for the teacher" is totally misleading. Some might think of it as a children's song and that is just hilarious.

Ezuri was born in 1981, and his musical roots lie in the darker music genres of the 80s. Industrial, EBM, wave and modern techno, dark ambient and electro paint his musical picture. His music feels like a never-ending song of longing, melancholy, and even anger. One can sense the light and hope in his productions - the small rays of hope in the dark night. He has released his music on labels such as: VOITAX, Dark Floor Sound, XYZ Project and Limbic Resonance. When he DJs, he loves to play vinyl. Temperatures are dropping and we’re all feeling the effects. Bordello A Parigi is letting the cold winds of the north swirl inside its doors with Russia’s Volta Cab bringing a fresh 2LP to the table. A spread of influences come together for the eleven tracks of Rise Again. Take “Emerald’s Phantasy”, a piece built on layers of percussion that blends elements of disco with notes of techno. “Dark Room” is a different affair. Arctic chords are cut with electro and distant vocals for an unsettling treat. “Kruger” stomps to a terse beat before lush pads bloom in a work that builds to dizzying peaks. Warm blasts balance these colder moments, the rich grooves of “Savage Fury”, the floor filling funk of “Board Scandinavia” and the removed romance of “Sweet Exorcist” all show another shade to the Volta Cab sound and of course there’s more. Rise Again is an audio collection of vibrant colours and hues, tracks pitch from icy blues to autumnal ambers and fiery reds; a musical kaleidoscope that stretches across a spectrum of styles.

Teerpappe is his own vinyl label where he released also solo records. This release Das letzte Nasenhaar EP is a collection of Kraut Break Beats with a strongly German and weird imprint. Borderline with noise.
Raw Ambassador had the task of cooking his version of Party Animal with the collaboration of the vocal cords of the same Wosto for a really original result, a dance floor killa.
