The songs are crafted in close collaboration: Sarignia Bonfà, Raphael Stricker, and Martin Akeret write together – each contributes their own identity, each helps shape the band’s distinctive sound.

Sarignia’s lead vocals are of the highest calibre – expressive, precise, and controlled down to the finest nuance. Every note lands exactly where it belongs, whether in tender restraint or powerful release. Her voice carries the songs, tells stories, and moves deeply.

Raphael Stricker’s guitar work is both technically refined and emotionally resonant. With a keen sense of dynamics and structure, he weaves shimmering textures, raw riffs, and floating melodies – sometimes at the forefront, sometimes subtly layered, always perfectly placed.

Martin Akeret brings in rich synthesizer textures, deep grooves, and sonic details that give the music its depth and character. His soundscapes are finely balanced between electronic pulse and atmospheric space, rhythm and resonance.

Indie-Rock trifft auf düstere Balladen, schmetternde Gitarrenriffs kontrastieren mit sphärischen Synth-Flächen – und darüber schwebt die unverwechselbare Stimme von Sarignia Bonfà: mal verletzlich, mal unaufhaltsam.

Die Songs entstehen in enger Zusammenarbeit: Sarignia Bonfà, Raphael Stricker und Martin Akeret komponieren gemeinsam – jeder bringt seine Handschrift ein, jeder prägt den Sound.

Sarignias Lead-Gesang ist von höchster Qualität: Ausdrucksstark, präzise und kontrolliert bis in die feinsten Nuancen. Jeder Ton sitzt – sei es in zarter Zurückhaltung oder in kraftvoller Entladung. Ihre Stimme trägt die Songs, erzählt Geschichten, berührt tief.

My name is masseDefekt. I'm electronic musician and DJ from Dresden, Germany.
I started making tunes 10 years ago, because it was a way to make me able of listening to the sounds i always wanted to hear. Music needs no language and knows no barriers.
Music doesn't exist even. It's pressure-fluctuation in air. But it encodes emotions, when you make it – and releases them again, when it's heard and played. That is so fascinating!
