RAPPER (1990 -)


Justin Lewaine’ Harris, who now performs as Smoov, was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 10, 1990. After getting in trouble for making beats and rapping at the lunch table before and during school hours, he always had a passion for music. He played 3 different sports growing up in his early childhood including (Basketball, Baseball, and Football) but music always had a calling for Smoov. He rapped under the name J.Smoov “The Talk Of The Streets”, releasing 2 mixtapes with famous extraordinary producer Sonny Digital which gave Smoov quite a buzz which set him away from local competition. He Ran with a rap group for 6 years after high school which went by Awfset with 3 other aspiring rappers. They composed a mixtape which had their city on smash that went by the name of iGotTrap back in 2008. The group went through ups and downs through the 6 years and all decided to end the rap group and focus on each others solo careers. Since then Smoov has been working on many projects, and performing at different venues in Atlanta spreading what he calls “Gods Gift". He has ties to the “Migos” record label Quality Control Music doing a numerous of songs with their signed rapper Mango Foo, and plans to release them on his upcoming projects in the near future. Living in Atlanta with the different cultures of music, Smoov makes records for the party life, his life growing up all over Atlanta, as well as conscious, soul music. Listening to him you wouldn’t be able to tell he was from Atlanta with his selection of beats to rap to, but his slang, lyrics, arrogance, and emotion on each the track makes him a unique entertaining rap artist to listen to.
