Mexico's fine imprint 'We Are Here' returns with its third release, and they are coming at you at a speedy pace! Some great DJ support already for this label from John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, David Scuba well the list goes on and on... 

The Mexican artists 116 db steps up with a new EP, and the isn't much to tell you about this artist, he doesn't have biogs on his social media pages, or shouts about his music, he just concentrates making quality music for quality labels, with previous releases appearing on Stripped, Sounds of Juan and Reelaux Digital amongst others. 

And so to the music, and first up its Memorias 2.0 am mysterious deep voyage, with layers of sounds tinkering throughout, almost like a windchime blowing in the wind, while pads and string instruments pluck while the phat underlying groove carries you along. 

Next up is M4GIQ, a haunting deep melodic journey, with a housey feel, but full of warmth with its moving bassline cascading over sweet chords and pads. 

And to close is the title track Sun & Earth, the darker of the there tracks. This monster powers along creating a moody feel, but is constantly melodic enigmatic grip encapsulates you as the track unfolds. 

Three excellent tracks from this seriously on fire new label.

For their 14th release Under No Illusion turn to 20 year old Fraser Stuart and offer up his production debut. Fraser is the current resident at Glasgow's So Loco as as well as making moves into Ibiza’s underground scene where he will spend his second summer in 2014. The Voices EP has all the characteristics of a seasoned producer so for this being a debut release it really is outstanding work. 

The EP kicks off with lead track Voices , a real percussion led tech house groover that layers a twisted vocal over a jacked up baseline , this track will sit well with the fans of both jacking and tech house. 

Techno heavyweight and Sci-tec regular Matt Sasarri takes on remix duties of Voices and turn’s in an epic journey through all things dark and melodic . utilizing the original vocal matt warps us through a moody and ultra cool set of cut up FX breaking the track to the bare bones before releasing an almighty kick back baseline. With releases also on Ron Costa’s Potobolo as well as Bitten and Panterre Musique, Under No Illusion certainly have pulled an emerging star in here on the remix. 

The second track No Escape sees Fraser take things to a more deeper Techno audience , with full emphasis on building a solid foundation and letting the music talk . Percussion and rhythms are all solid and tight with an added vocal FX lead. 

No Escape gets two solid remixes to complete the package with UNI enlisting manchester’s H2 & Marseilles Stephen Macias to do the business. 

H2 go straight for the main room jugular using the main vocal hook and wrapping it around a killer baseline and old school delayed sample. This mix will go down particularly well in the big clubs in ibiza like Sankeys and Space and will find its way into all the big tech house dj’s sets. 

Stephen Macias takes the final remix on a Techno tour , spaced out layered in structure but a sure fire winner with all the more experimental techno heads. this mix really rounds the full package of for this up and coming young producer Fraser Stuart. 

Fraser will have a busy summer moving to ibiza at the end o may and appearing on the potobolo showcases throughout europe. take note of the name as we are sure this will be the start of a bright future for this young scotsman. 

Another sterling release for this wicked label that certainly making a stamp on clublands dance floors.

Italian DJ & Producer Irregular Synth is from Naples, home of many a famous DJ, and starting playing at an early age, his is recognised as a heavyweight of clubland with his precise attention devoted to the dance floor. 

His DJ sets usually contain many original elements including groovy vibes, melodies and funky bass lines. Irregular Synth is also a prolific producer and his latest tracks were released on Globally respected labels, and many big named DJ's supporting his work, and so his sound fitted perfectly on Tom Hades excellent Rhythm Convert(ed) imprint.

This fine Mexican imprint is delivering the goods and making waves with the Worlds finest DJ's. Big support from Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and a whole host more. 

Hole Box hail from Mexico and their soundcloud is full of tasty re-wokings that will never get release, and so it was time to get some original work out there, and what better label than fellow locals we Are Here Music. 

Tiny Soula is a tasty little techie number that bounces along, and the smooth pads add depth as the track develops. A cool clever little track with nice effected percussion and layers adding space. 

A big remix package kicks off with American clubland stalwart Chris Fortier who utilises the original vibe, but adding a darker, moodier groove with cool delays and trippy fx and making the track build too the teasing drop. 

Plus theres a Chris Fortier Dub which strips the pads back making this more of a deep techno workout. 

Mobius Strum & Richard Salazar step up next. The Costa Rican outfit have already released on 8 Bit, AMA, Smiley Fingers, InfraDig, Supernature SK Supreme, Nirvana Rec., Akbal Music, Caramella Rec and they're very own Half Seas Over. Their mix takes us deep ion to heads down territory, creating a moody yet very tasty offering. 

Classic producers Blue Amazon close the package, and beef things up, with its baseline led, percussion driven hypnotic peak time workout. Starting dark and then adding tinkling synths that brighten the vibe and raise the temperature! 

So there we go, its the 4th from We Are Here Music and these boys are certainly delivering the goods!

The German Maestro of musical wonders Robert Babicz breathes a new lease of life to his famed BABICZSTYLE. A hugely welcome return for this outlet of high class goodness. 

And so Duba kick things off, with its housey groove, big subbed up bass, and tinkly melodies meeting dubby overtones, grnaly sounds, skippy breakbeat fills and general coolness as you'd expect from Mr B. 

Heat and Love is a superb slab of grooving yet driven electronic fuelled house, with a hint of acid and and a tasty male vocal, made for those moments when you require smiles from the whole room. 

Densemoments is fresh, yet retro in many of its elements. Deep chords, analog bass, tinkly layers and disco edged beats all combine beautifully to create a timeless gem. 

On remix duties, a great friend of Robert, the uber talented Guy J, who gets to work on Duba and strips the beats right back and creates a cafe del mar style ambient gem of the highest order. Pure class. 

Klartraum are next to take on Duba, and its straight back to the dance floor we venture. Deep and restrained for the first half of the track, before the warmth shines through, as we are treated to key changing mood shifting chords of happiness. Tasty! 

And to close up its Deetwo who also rework Duba, adding a floaty feeling as this housey groove unfolds, with dubbed out sound and sparkling keys brightening with a slight disco nod here and there. 

And so this strong return certainly makes a statement for BABICZSTYLE as the quality oozes out like melted chocolate...

Juan began creating electronic music in 2005, at 15 years of age, influenced by the exceptional local DJ talent on display every week in Argentinian clubs. Although Hernan Cattaneo remains the country’s best-known global star, the likes of Martin García, Guille Quero, Deep Mariano, Big Fabio and others, were have also been highly influential in the ways they create different ways to feel and understand electronic music. Argentina is most definitely one of the key creative and most vibrant places right now, and listening to “FOUND02” is a perfect snapshot of one of South America’s most exciting emerging new talents.

From the gentle, teasing, melodic mood of opening track “Avalon”, to the twisted beauty of “Vulcan Pigs”, the stage is set for a master class in totally enthralling emotional music. With “Time” showing a deep and dark side to the young producer’s stylistic palette, and “Feel” reaching for the stars, “Bedroom Riddles” is left to turn up the intensity to the max. “FOUND02” is a stunning body of work that will, no doubt, put Juan Deminicis firmly on everyone’s radar as a future star in the making.

After the success of his debut EP in June 2023, Verche now returns to Particles with his Into the Light that combines a trio of original tracks with remixes from Croatian and Australian artists. Marin Roncevic has been a powerful force in the Progressive House and Melodic House & Techno genres through his Verche soubriquet. Since a 2013 debut, some 250 production credits have shone over a decade on such labels as Heath Mill Recordings, Bonzai Progressive, System Recordings and the October 2023 Saints & Sinners album on Sangria. Making his full Particles EP debut in mid-2023, Riptide lit up the Croatians credentials as he now returns. The title track immediately commands listener attention with its chugging rhythmic intensity and beautifully sculpted piano motifs. Easily transforming into dramatically cadenced sequences, Into the Light rises and falls with dramatic and spine-tingling intensity. The chunky rhythmic foundation of Night at the Velvet Mountain is quickly developed into an innovatively and intriguingly created melodic sequence that evolves through repeated note patterns. Thickly textured pads and floating vocal phrasing add to the sonic collage as it develops more traditional dancefloor characteristics in the second half. The mellifluous tones of Sweet Desert drift over a head-shaking groove and heavy beat as a rich sub-bassline adds weight aplenty. Delicately crafted, layers of soundscape build upon each other with shimmering intensity, subtle vocal intonations and emotive chord progression. Petar Dundov has been a musical revelation for a quarter of a century since he burst onto the melodic techno scene in late-2001. Some 400 production credits later and Petar has been a mainstay of Sven Väths Cocoon Recordings, DAYS like NIGHTS, Sudbeat Music and Bedrock Records. A regular on Proton Music with his Salvation and Spark EPs in December 2020 and October 2021, a pair of Particles remixes for Chihaka and Gaston Ponte in 2021 and 2023 are now followed by a third as Petar Dundov remixes his fellow countryman. Taking on Into the Light, a trademark sound comes flooding through as cascading and grooved arpeggios build upon each other over a huge sub-bassline and immaculate club groove. Evolving easily, familiar melodic patterns from Verches original come to the fore, combined with gorgeous and shimmering keys. Waxing and waning a new synth lead arrives post-breakdown against the ordered chaos of the original. Another artist with strong production credentials, Dave Leck arrives on Particles once more after the success of a quartet of original EPs between 2019 and 2024. Thus Stardust, Primal Connection, Elevate and Opal have showcased the Australians talent in addition to his work for 3rd Avenue, Soundteller Records and a half-century of credits for Nick Lewis Emotional Content Recordings. Now reworking Sweet Desert, the Dave Leck remix builds upon the melodic phrasing found in Verches original and transforms it into a seething club-friendly powerhouse. A deeply resonant kick, ticking hats and cavernous bassline are juxtaposed against cascading arpeggios that pan the stereo spectrum at the beatless breakdown, before combining effortlessly with the metronomic rhythm in the second half to create a mesmerising and free-flowing interpretation.

Words of Nio makes his debut on Sudbeat with an exciting brace of tracks. Patrice Baumel completes the package with a remix that shows his immense taste.

Ibiza-based, multi-instrumentalist, Words of Nio is an audio chameleon influenced in his early years by Underworld, Depeche Mode and Aphex Twin. He played and toured with various bands since he was 16. After his last band broke up he took some time out to refocus, and by 2015 had moved to Ibiza to pursue a full-time music career again. Now signed to Renaissance, Get Physical and more, his sound is finding a wider audience and soundtracking parties across the globe.

Opening with 'Beside The Fire', a deep shaker-led groove reveals soft piano and delicate vocals. Very much focused on vibe and atmosphere, the deepness is punctuated by clever FX and mindful sonics. On the remix, Patrice Bäumel focuses on the vocal elements creating something of a Thom Yorke vocal arrangement that squeezes out every last drop of emotion. One more stellar work added to his outstanding discography. Finally, the second original cut, 'Whispers', follows a more tribal path. Emotive and vocal, its perfect for those 4am-deep-in-your-own-space groovathons. Nuanced and incredibly detailed work from the new kid on the block!

A South American duo of considerable repute, Ric Niels & Tiefstone join forces to display their combined talents on Opposite / Mannheim. From the nature-rich Chaco province in northeast Argentina, Ric Niels has carved out a sizeable reputation with his dramatic and charismatic brand of progressive house. With a triple century of production credits to his name after a 2020 debut on Clinique Recordings, Rics work has been a staple of such blue-chip imprints as Praveen Acharys Juicebox Music, Paul Thomas UV and a half-century of credits for Mangos eponymously titled, Mango Alley. Moreover, May 2023 saw the Argentinean hit impressive heights with his Psyncopath / Pirate EP on Proportion. A select portfolio of immaculately crafted music has seen Juan Carlos Villalba flourish with his Tiefstone production moniker after early high-profile releases on John Digweeds Bedrock Records and Hernan Cattaneos Sudbeat Music in 2016 and 2017. Since then, the Brazilian artist has gone on to showcase his work on TFT Musik, Dear Deer White and fellow countryman D-Noxs Sprout, in July 2024. Joining forces for the first time on Marchs 2024s Abby EP, Sudbeat Music was the perfect vehicle for the duos flowing production style with the title track championed by El Maestro himself. Now returning for their first collaborative outing on Dmitry Moloshs label, Opposite is characterised by a deep flowing groove and hefty beat that provides the perfect vehicle for a cavernous and growling bassline to power through the low-end. Rising and falling with open-filtered aggression, a searing lead-line adds vibrancy aplenty alongside white-noise washes. A pause for breath at the breakdown sees the introduction of smooth and pulsating waves of textured pads make their presence felt before the track drops back into the sublime dancefloor cadence of early phases. Continuing the strong rhythmic narrative of its counterpart, Mannheim is another chunky bass-fuelled affair that drives relentlessly forward with chest-thumping kick and percussive groove. Before long, the rhythmic collage is juxtaposed with an array of effects and pad layers while a central melodic theme enters the fray at the mid-point with an immaculate and spine-tingling accent that is sure to provide dancefloor appeal. Layered with the metrical poise of earlier phrasing, the combination of melody, rhythm and deep bass sequence then plays out in the second half to mesmerising effect.

With this his tenth appearance on the label, Dmitry Molosh has consistently found himself leading the charge on his hugely respected imprint. From his stunning “Proportion” debut in early 2022 and the “Shining / Watercolor” EP a year later, to collaborations with the iconic Navar on “Small Wonder” and December 2023’s “Shine Like a Star / Plant Growth”, Dmitry Molosh has presided over a 24-carat collection of sparkling Progressive House gems.

Furthermore, the Belarusian artist has stayed at the epicentre of a genre that has shifted around him with a unique and powerful melodic progressive sound. Constantly forward-thinking, his work for Proton Music, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Cid Inc.’s Replug are testament to an enduring relevance within the underground dance scene dating back more than a decade and approaching 700 production credits.

Now taking on a first remix for the label, the Dmitry Molosh reworking of “Outside Your Body” is a stunning creation that immediately captures listener attention with the familiar and ethereal pads found in the MUUI original. Further making use of the delicate and delayed keys, Dmitry’s skill is to wrap these in a deep and dark rhythmic foundation, driven by a seismic kick and crisp percussive shell. Adding a swathe of effects, a powerful new bassline progression enters the fray in the second movement to spine-tingling effect, developing a new vibrancy. Building once more through the evocative breakdown where melody and pads swell in a smooth beatless environment, a huge snare roll heralds a monumental drop into a driving rhythmic collage with MUUI’s shimmering melodies sitting front and centre in another incredible Dmitry Molosh masterpiece.

What a start to Selador’s twelfth year. We were delighted when Dilby debuted for us recently with the vocal gem ‘Give It Up Again’ – and we’re doubly delighted to follow it up in double quick time with this essential EP. 

The Berlin-based Kiwi straddles genres effortlessly, and subsequently finds his tunes in the boxes of a wide variety of DJs. This stellar selection will no doubt follow suit. 

We kick things off with ‘Sacred Ground’ a majestic roller with a classic ‘90s feel that hits the spot in all the right places before dropping to a distinctive ‘dread’ vocal. ‘Closer’ then steps up with its rolling percussive intro paving the way for duelling riffs, a real early ‘00s classy heads down vibe for this one. And our titanic triptych is completed by the aforementioned ‘Give It Up Again’, which is more than worthy of another trip round the block as a reminder of its undeniable potency.
