I call upon you, Lady of the Lake, high priestess of Avalon, mistress of water's pulse and sovereign of the sacred feminine. In your shimmering depths lie transformation, guidance, guardianship. You raised Lancelot, gifted Excalibur, and stood at the boundary between worlds, nature and magic, mortal and divine. Known by many names, Nimue, Viviane, Morgan, your magic flows like a hidden river, both nurturing and unfathomable.
Once, I swam into those same depths, seeking escape, surrendering to fate. I swam as far as I could, until my strength surrendered to the dark water. At that edge between breath and oblivion, I was pulled back, saved by a stranger, just in time. That lake, my grave and my womb, became my crucible, my dark night of the soul, and the birthplace of my awakening.

Lady of the Lake, I step into your liquid threshold. I reclaim witchcraft's devotion, sobriety's clarity, and self-love's sacred armor.
Guide me. Guard this path I walk. Let your water wash away my fear, yet consecrate my purpose. Let this invocation be a vow: to rise, to protect, to honor the divine current within and around me.

This is my offering, to the waters, to the darkness from which light must emerge, 
to the lineage of priestesses before me, and to every heart that hears this call. May it stir within you that ancient knowing: you are not meant to merely survive-but to wield your rebirth, your power, your light.

Lady of the Lake

Hostal Handshake is an Athenian hard rock/stoner band formed in 2001. After releasing promos "H2" (2002), "Public Affears" (2003), and "Bitched Up!" (2005), they launched their acclaimed debut album "Hellish" in 2007 via Secret Port Records. While there are no plans for live performances, Hostal Handshake intends to release new studio material (singles,EPs or ...albums!) from 2025 onwards.
