While summer is already in full swing, we have compiled the perfect soundtrack for your sunset or sunrise parties. Here is Smiling Comp Vol.1, featuring 8 tracks that reflect our influences, ranging from Balearic and progressive to electro and trance vibes, created by local and international artists we've encountered on our travels.

The compilation opens with a progressive piano track by @breezysmusic, evoking a nostalgic vibe from years before we were even born. "Insomnia 92" is followed by "Some Magnetic Way" by @geo-taguchi, capturing the perfect Balearic summer mood. Next is @doubluremusic with "Looping Loop," a close friend who once again proves he’s a top-notch electro producer.

Some of our co-founders are also featured in the compilation, each showcasing their unique talents: "Call It a Day" by @arvemusic highlights his electro and rock inspirations, while @nairless-music makes a striking return with "Celestial Infinity," ideal for an afternoon in Tisno for those in the know.

We then enter peak dancefloor euphoria with the progressive "Spellbound," the debut release from @eclectic_elektra! @aidenfrancis needs no introduction; his energetic "Pomona Beach" definitely sets the tone for an endless summer. Finally, our dear friend @shader_dj perfectly closes this compilation with "Nighcrawler," leading us into a trancey and nostalgic atmosphere until the end of the night.

The fourth release on ALT, the sub label of Cartulis Music, sees the return of AV1, the freshly
formed French duo composed of Chris Carrier and Le Loup. Following the success of Waves +
Plants Pt. 1 (ALT004.1), the pair now delivers the highly anticipated second chapter, pushing the
boundaries of their sonic exploration.

AV1 is the result of a deep-rooted connection between two of the most respected names in the
Parisian underground scene. Chris Carrier, a prolific producer and DJ since the late ‘90s, has
carved out a legacy with his unmistakable approach to house and techno. Le Loup, equally
revered for his refined touch and forward-thinking productions, brings his own signature style to the table. Together, they craft an electrifying synergy built on a shared love for acid, deep grooves, and classicist house/techno foundations.

Waves + Plants Pt. 2 (ALT004.2) expands on the energy of the first release, offering a fivetrack
journey through a diverse soundscape. Blurring the lines between trance, techno, breaks,
and experimental sounds, the EP showcases AV1’s ability to merge different sonic textures into
a cohesive, cutting-edge release. From hypnotic acid sequences to raw drum programming and ethereal atmospheres, each track presents a unique side of their creative vision.

PREMIERE: Chichöl - Encounters (Angel Mellado Remix)

A year after his last release on Delsin, Hungarian producer Q3A is back with four more cuts of techno and electro excellence. This alias is a side project by Lobster Theremin artist Route 8 and finds him making club tracks that ooze atmosphere and intriguing details. 
The 'Nameless Place' kicks off with a tense and tangled techno track that is urgent and slick as is hurries on through damp underground caverns. 'The Very End of You' completely flips the script and is a slow motion bit of dub. With only sparse kick drums, the focus is on the cavernous pads that smear in huge arcs as watery droplets and heavenly chords add to the brain soothing effect. 'Temple of Retribution' is back to techno, with a nod to Ko-Ta's 90's tribal productions, this time with loose, jumbled percussion and clipped drums cantering along at high speed. Again it's roomy stuff with no real edge. The 'Deva Station' drops into house mode, wriggling drums and distant vocal cries finished off with some classic Detroit keys. It's a high tech, soulful track that closes out a diverse and devastating EP.

Dust-e-1 - The Cosmic Dust EP

After an amazing debut 12inch for Slices Of Life in April 2012, we are happy to announce a follow up EP by BAAZ with three massive and rolling house pieces.
„Chummy“, the 2nd track on the B side,  starts with a very dry and simple 4/4 bassdrum + snare figure before building up into a driving dubby disco piece carried by a nicely filtered loop and Baaz´s typical open high hats.

The Berlin based Baaz stays true to his unique style of producing house music and again convinces with pure and powerful beat structures, warm basslines, clear strings and floating chords, from which it is difficult to tear oneself away.
