From the very beginning UM has longed to be a vinyl-kinda-label, and after 3 years of work the day has finally come! I’m delighted to unveil the first UM Records 12” - the start of a new irregular series of vinyl only releases, continuing our ethos of quality deep house music from the finest producers. The debut slice of vinyl features a hand picked crop of familiar names to deep house lovers. 

Opening with one of the hottest collaborations right now, BiG AL and Rishi K. featuring Blankita, Damelo is a twisted blend of moody bassline and funky grooves that just has that essential UM sound - bright, moody and that all important need to move to the beat as standard. Marc Cotterell featuring Doreen Younglove sees Cotterell in a harder groove than many of his releases, graced by the vocals of Younglove the track builds with a euphoric mood and glorious piano keys. On the flip side BiG AL goes it alone with the big n bouncy Pero Tu Nu Sabe with its flickering Spanish heart and sultry vocals. Wrapping up the 12” is Deep Active Sound with another strutting affair. Classic Deep Active Sound grooves with the deeper dance floors on it’s mind.

We're closing off the year with Spennu's "You Shouldn't Do" which was previously released and featured on our "ADE 2013 VA Sampler". 

In it's Original form, "You Shouldn't Do" is a modern Deep House tune with a classic twist which was heavily supported by C&M Productions, Deep Spelle, Krummstoff, Submantra, Deephope, Rissa Garcia and Ilias Katelanos to name just a few. 

We're very happy to be bringing it back as a single with a few dope remixes to serve you during the Holiday Season and beyond. 

First rework comes courtesy of the always on point Londoner Tony S, followed by  Greece's Analog Trip and last but certainly not least, we finish with Felipe L from Spain.

We sure hope that you'll find the right version for your sessions.
