Kicking things off for our first release of 2022 is someone we’ve been a fan of at Nothing Else Matters for a while now, Danish/Egyptian DJ, producer and vocalist, Ashibah, who debuts on Danny Howard’s imprint with brand new single, ‘Get 2 Know Me’. Having already taken South America by storm, Ashibah is making her mark on the international scene with her explosive DJ sets and expanding catalogue of club heat on an impressive list of labels including D4 D4NCE, Armada Subjekt, SOLOTOKO, Kittball, DFTD and This Never Happened. ‘Get 2 Know Me’ is an instant dancefloor hit, delivering an infectious and propulsive groove with entrancing vocals, driving House drums and funk-laden bass throughout.

German DJ and producer, Butch, makes his long overdue return to Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint this summer with his brand new single, 'Same Like Dope But Different'. Having spent the last two decades honing and refining his sound, Butch has released on a remarkable list of well-established labels in the scene including Play It Say It, Cocoon, Diynamic, Moon Harbour, CircoLoco, DCLTD, Cecille and more. Few artists flow through genres and emotional landscapes with such ease and fluidity as Butch, challenging preconceptions of the dancefloor and the expected outcome in the process. As an artist, he's always allowed himself to express his take on each genre – it's true that with Butch, you never know what to expect, other than consistently fresh and unique output. As Roland Clark’s delivers his emotive spoken word narrative, David’s rolling bassline and percussive breaks bring his signature brand of soul-laden house. Kurd Maverick is back on Toolroom for the first time in 7 years, and what a return it is! As always, we’re ending the year with a huge, party infused record and ‘Dancing To’ ticks all the right boxes! 
 
Utilising that classic ‘Jesus Can Work It Out’ sample that originally came from the Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer Choir way back in 1980, and more recently Karimiza used the same vocal sample in 2017 and had a huge hit with ‘Work It Out’ that became an Annie Mac firm favourite, and it was this record that made this vocal instantly recognisable among clubland today.
 

With added doses of groove, and percussion, we’re sure that this party fuelled house record will become an anthem all over again!
