Folde, a paper child with many siblings, was his mother's favorite due to his intelligence and adventurous spirit. Unlike his siblings who stayed near home, Folde yearned to explore beyond. Despite warnings about the dangers of the Ink Ocean, Folde ventured on solo treasure hunts. He encountered a mysterious figure who provided him with a map leading to cursed relics and ultimately, the shadow crystal—a treasure that changed his life.

Upon gazing into the crystal, Folde saw the true nature of his world and an opposite one, which traumatized but fascinated him. Driven by the crystal's revelations, he leaped into the Ink Ocean, instead of being drown, with the power of the Shadow Crystal, he's able to emerge as a being of ink yet retaining his core essence but more twisted, he lost his Shadow Crystal after emerging however. Rejected by his family due to his transformation, Folde's thirst for adventure turned into a dark obsession as he coerced others into perilous hunts.

In the game, Kris, Susie, and Ralsei meet Folde in the empty streets where he traps Ralsei and Susie, forcing Kris to befriend him. Folde promises Kris an adventure in an unknown world, leading Kris on three treasure hunting trials across the dark world. Successful in these trials, they venture to the Deepdock to find the shadow crystal, which he believe will grants them access to the new world. However, the Ink Ocean tries to reclaim Folde, who clings to the shadow crystal, causing him to transform into VARGANT Folde.

During the ensuing battle, Folde blames Kris for abandoning him. His insanity peak as he tries to force Kris into the Ink Ocean. After being defeated by Kris, Folde realizes his mistake, regrets forcing Kris into danger, and seeks redemption by transforming into a weapon or armor to aid Kris in their journey ahead, leaving his family behind and start anew.

Hello everyone!!

I can't believe it honestly, 10 years... Undertale is now 10 flipping years old, isn't that crazy??

I discovered Undertale when I was around 9 or 10 years old and is one of the main reasons I wanted to start making music in the first place. Undertale has helped me through my dark moments in life and showed me how important it is to stay positive towards yourself and others. 

Thank you Toby Fox, for creating some of the best moments in my life..
