This is the 1st of 2 remixes that we almost released under our "more chill" alias "The Westwoods" but then didn't because deeper side projects are so 2014 dude!! 
 
Kidding, but not really. We realized our Milk N Cookies brand is pretty much anything goes anyway, so we decided to release them.

Off the back of their top 10 all time highest selling release on the label ‘Sabale’, Rob & Jack return with their drum rolling, tech inspired club weapon ‘Do My Thing’.
Opening with kicks, hi hats and open cymbals, this track ascends during the intro, building in to what can only be described as a release of tension as the catchy hooky vocal take over, driving the record forward with a symphony of toms and metallic synths. Not satisfied with leaving it there, the breakdown offers an intense and euphoric crescendo as the synths and percussion build to a final release in a pleasurable onslaught of kicks, claps and vocal, perfectly balanced sonic beauty, as always.

It all started with a bootleg of Leave The World Behind I made for this summer that took a life of its own. After playing it out I really wanted to make it into a cover and release it. I could think of no one else to crush this harder than Kaleena, and she did. The original is a favorite of mine and I’m honored to have covered it.
