Servis Kwéni is the first audiovisual glimpse of Wave Arising . 
It evokes a call from ancestors, a reminder to nature, a return to roots.

Musically,  @69db continues to explore the realms of rave music as he always has. 
In this track he naturally knew how to marry his sound imprint with the symbolic dimension of the dancer's roots . 
Fusioning sound recordings of the Gouro women (Côte d'Ivoire) , bright ambient and aerial layers guitars with a revisited Kayamb (La Réunion) or chaotic dissonances announcing the trance. 

It's this special mixture of traditional influences and bridges between ambient, contemporary and electronic music which creates the original sound of Servis Kwéni .

Servis Kwéni

The WORSHIP dubplate series emerges with a heavy and forward thinking 2-tracker from Tracksuit Goth, embodying his signature production style in a unique and gritty middleground between techno and 140.

Soul Roach City is an atmospheric roller, melding swampy, industrial laced techno together with weighty sub bass.

Sadistic and clean cut, “Severe Punishment” comes through on the flip side with a sharp, high energy, staggered cadence, riddled with horror samples.

" Selecting tunes for releases on Samurai Music is difficult as there is so many great tunes on offer. The absolute cream of what we get sent makes it to releases on vinyl, so resisting the temptation of digital only releases creates a backlog of high quality tunes. Outliers is a collection of music from the Samurai family of artists that were all in contention for vinyl release, but for one reason or another slipped through the cracks. Most of these are still in heavy rotation in many of our DJ sets, so rather than hogging them, we put together a collection for a Bandcamp only release. No DJ promos have been sent out, and most have never been played by more than a few select Samurai DJ’s and the producer themselves. Outliers shows the depth of talent these producers have with these sitting on their HD’s without a home. We don’t plan on moving into the digital only release field any time soon so maybe we can have this series as a semi regular substitute. "

Following on from his debut LP 'Garden Reach' in 2016, 'Koriko' is a tale of rediscovery- and the latest offering from UK based producer G3. 

..born out of a time when he had moved away from his hometown and into the capital, where his range of influences and experiences widened- across the 5 tracks 'Koriko' continues to explore some of the ideas heard on 'Garden Reach', only this time more realized. Fusing together elements of Electronica, Grime, Dubstep and Footwork into a world of his own. 'ø' is the EP opener and nod to the event of the same name run by Kode9 - a spot in London where G3 can often be found, soaking up sound and cultivating new ideas. 'Coming Up, Yuliya' and 'I Drink Your Milkshake' are the more energetic cuts. 'aRby' is new territory for G3 in its slow and despondent tone - the main synth melody created from a sample of the British TV show, can you guess it? ;) 'Umami' which concludes the project, again new territory at 160bpm is a glossy yet minimalistic interpretation of Chicago footwork. 

We have also doubled down on this on one with some stellar remix work from some of the finest around. Japanese legend Daisuke Tanabe, Parisians, DeGrandi, and Amor Satyr.
