Happy New Year! I've always wanted to try taking a short BGM from a game and expanding it into a full, lyrical song, which is exactly what I did here. I took inspiration from how Closer To Your Heart from DDR Hottest Party 2 took the DDRMAX staff roll and made it into a full song, so I did the same thing with the DDRMAX2 ranking screen theme (and the DDRMAX staff roll makes an appearance too!) for this song. Major thanks to Sneak for providing the vocals and character art, they put on an incredibly passionate performance! This actually isn't my first time working with Sneak: we "indirectly" worked together since my remix of Connections!' Hello Tomorrow! features their vocals!
