Silk Digital's latest offering looks back upon the extraordinary work of Shingo Nakamura, the internationally acclaimed Japanese producer and DJ. Undoubtedly a leading talent on our imprint for many years now, Shingo has contributed several artist albums and countless singles to Silk in the last seven years, many of which remain fan favorites from our back catalogue. His deep and exceedingly melodic brand of progressive house never fails to evoke a wide range of emotions in the listener, running the gamut from the melancholic tones of his classic remix of Soundprank's "Burner" to the pure euphoria of his most famous work, "Sapporo".

The standout cuts featured in this compilation include early works like "Alice In Wonderland" and "I'm With You", as well as the more recent, Above & Beyond-supported "Words Unspoken." These works also showcase Shingo's most notable signature: poignant, classical piano themes, which endure well beyond repeated listens. We're tremendously proud to have worked with Shingo for so many years now. We share our enthusiasm for his music with our beloved fans through "Shingo Nakamura 01".

Rising progressive artist Andromedha first appeared on our imprint in 2016, courtesy of Shingo Nakamura's mix on our "Only Silk 04" compilation. That specific underground gem, "Watching The Red Clouds Passing By," is now paired with the brand new "The Hike," both of which officially comprise the Polish talent's debut EP with Silk Music.

The title cut kicks off with a relaxed house groove, which is enveloped in an equally chilled, if not foreboding, after-hours atmosphere. Subtly melodic pads begin to emerge and color the midrange, teasing the radiant themes to arrive soon thereafter. In the main break, the arrangement crescendoes to a thrilling climax, when a rich and resonant new bassline cuts through the mix and gorgeous synth lines euphorically seize the listener.

The B-side, "The Hike," is a thrilling club-friendly alternative to its release counterpart. An uptempo groove and hypnotic lead arpeggio create a rapturous soundscape in the early going. The more "vintage" melodic progressive arrangement takes an unexpected turn in the main break, upon the arrival of a festival-flavored lead synth theme. The jubilant drop to follow strikes a perfect balance between the classical and modern influences of trance & progressive.

This July, talented North American producer Nox Vahn returns to Anjunadeep with his ‘Dream Of Love EP’.

Previously championed by the likes of Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1, Lane 8, Edu Imbernon, and Eelke Kleijn, Nox Vahn’s penchant for jet-black arrangements are on full show in the ‘Dream Of Love EP’.

Title track collaboration with Mimi Page, and Anjunadeep 11 fan favourite ‘Dream Of Love’ opens the EP, followed by ‘RE-PROGRAM’, an immense club cut reminiscent on 2019’s ‘Brainwasher’. Closed out by the gothic ‘Salvation’ and driving ‘Don’t Think’, ‘The Dream Of Love EP’ proves Nox Vahn is successfully carving out of his own sound - a dominative blend of techno and melodic house.
