Esquimau continues to raise the bar with every new release, adding yet another exciting name to its roster - this time, prolific house producer Scott Diaz. He leaves his unmistakable signature on the standout 'Blessings' EP, an absolute gem driven by crisp gospel chord progressions and a deep, 90s-inspired garage house groove. The remix is another beast altogether. Pushing the mix into deeper territory, ColorJaxx strips 'Blessings' down into a crisp, hypnotic stomper-no less of a bumper than the original. Shuffling the rhythm into a more garage-leaning mode, the flip side 'Manayunk Funk' stands out as a classic deep house cut, rich with chopped chords, washy vocals, and skipping grooves driven by a bubbling bassline.
