Weightless

Kill or B Killed is my debut release on @Lowlypalace and the first part of a larger story I'm going to share with you over the next few months. Each of my upcoming releases is the soundtrack to a story featuring two characters that will be revealed in artwork and animations. This is something I've had in my head for a very long time and I can't wait to share it with you!!!

Kill or B Killed:
"In a post-apocalyptic world a woman and her wolf companion are kidnapped by a machine and dropped in a dark room with several other random people. Confused and scared, they all turn around to see a completely decomposed body hooked up to a set of VR goggles closed off by bullet proof glass. Weapons drop from the ceiling at everyones feet and a robotic voice comes on a loud speaker saying, “There is no escape, kill or be killed.” The computer has been on a loop for years after the VR junkie’s death, repeating it’s sick death game on a loop."

A woman and her wolf companion are scavenging ruins of an old society when they stumble upon a hidden room, deep within the building. Inside the room they find and accidentally activate a robot containing a fully functional AI. The robot then, without warning, installs some unknown tech inside of the woman’s neck. Surprised and startled she is forced to enter a psychedelic tutorial on how to transfer her mind into another living being. While this is going on, another group of violent scavengers following them catches up and begins to try and break down the door. Just as the scavengers are breaking through, the woman successfully transfers her mind to the only other living thing in the room, her wolf. She is then forced to use her new powers to defend herself and the wolf.

Lo and her wolf, Yu are traveling across a marsh, trying to find a space to rest when they stumble upon a group of people chanting something around a pit of lava. A dull rumble fills the air and the ground shakes faintly. As they come into view, peering through the bushes and heavy fog, Lo sees someone hanging above the pit bound by ropes. With little time to think, she hides herself and uses her mind control abilities on one of the raiders. Using the raider’s body she climbs up, unties the victim, pushes him away from danger and pulls her mind from the raider’s body sending the raider into the pit. Lo regains consciousness, jumps on top of Yu, grabs the stranger and leads a chase through the marsh on Yu’s back. They race through the marsh as the rumbles grow louder and are suddenly surprised by a steep cliff into a large crater. In the center of the crater a volcano spits out violent heat, clearing a small break of fog around the companions. Lo veers away from the cliff with moments to spare. Unable to see through the fog, the raiders in pursuit crash forward, falling off the cliff to their deaths in the lava below.

Grudge

A robot soldier with AI is disfigured and trapped by a number of aggressive roots and branches. It’s limbs no longer work, but its mind is still functioning and able to process information. Unable to move and trapped in a broken body, it becomes forced to deal with the existential dilemma of turning off it’s solar recharge and dying or continuing to function in purgatory.

Damnation

Under siege from an immense robot army, a large  portion of the human population decides to evacuate the planet fearing complete obliteration. A much smaller number stay and resist. Led by unit S-09, the robot army plows through the human’s defense, taking the planet swiftly and without mercy.

SNEEK X Darkk Matter - Crush

A robot scout team led by S-09 is on a mission to snuff out any remaining human resistance. They come across a large crash site and discover what appears to be a solid meteor, but is actually illusive liquid matter. The robot’s touch ignites a chain reaction within the meteor causing trees and vegetation to grow at an aggressive, extraordinary rate. S-09 tries to escape but is constricted and torn apart by roots growing out of the ground.
