Snegu Magdalene - DJ set for Pulsate Radio (Berlin)

Snegu Magdalene is the alter ego of Jogile D., Barcelona-based Lithuanian multidisciplinary artist. She has been exploring electronic music and performance through different projects, and under different names for almost two decades. Upon focused studies in music, fashion, and art, including group experimental projects, she discovered all kinds of artistic performing-activity as a means of exploring her roots in a spiritual aspect. This is how Snegu Magdalene was born, in the abstract, surreal act video (filmed in Berlin) Transformation Face I: The Queen, where she combines her biggest passions: performance, fashion, and music. The continuous interest and attraction for dark aesthetics, experimental sound and poetry motivate her to continue working under Snegu Magdalene's name. One year ago, right before moving to Barcelona, she gets inspired to collaborate with electronic-noise artist d.Forma (Lovethechaos) in hypnotic techno-EBM-electro-hard beats live act SMFORMA, where she takes part in voice and electronics. First 12”( EP) of SMFORMA is coming out on Diffuse Reality Label this September.
