Trying to do something less stereotypically rave-y with the Circuit. Almost managed to create a ¾ beat within the constraints of the 16-step drum pattern. I like the lonely melodica/harmonica sound. I should rework this to make something more out of it.

Falling Downstairs

I started this on a whim while on vacation in Hawaii (with the cool Traveler guitar my wife gave me for our anniversary!) First there was a dumb three-note rhythm-guitar riff, then I was adding bass, then a lead... It seems to be turning into a real song. The next step is to add vocals.

Yesterday I noticed that our new dryer has a good beat. So I recorded it. Today I sliced that recordig into a loop, and added some canned loops from the Blocs Wave iPad app.

Experimenting with a steel tongue drum — connected a contact mic, then ran it through a Flashback II delay pedal (in Reverse mode) and the awesome Walrus Slö reverb (in “Dark” mode.)
