Northampton, UK, producer Wyman makes his long awaited return to Smooth N Groove with his Detractor LP. One year in the making and two years since his last release 'Money of Fools' which received solid support from DnB's heavy hitters! We can honestly say it has been well worth the wait as Wyman provides us with straight up vibes that showcase his signature production style throughout.

Featuring ten divers cuts that won't disappoint! Setting the scene and going straight in with the opening track 'Betari Box' featuring deep bass textures and catchy vocals. 'Diamond Sutra' follows suit with a slightly darker tone and a floor shredding, tearing bass line. Fast forward through the LP and Wyman switches things up with the title track 'Detractor' featuring delicious piano vibes, dreamy strings and lavish drum patterns. Finishing out the LP with 'Cyane' which has the listener immersed between soulful depths, jazz samples and a killer bouncy bass drop! Simply put, this is Wyman's best work to date and arguably one of the best releases on the imprint.

Based out of Nottingham, UK, Dash has been making a lot of noise across the scene with his infectious and versatile production styles. Quickly establishing a solid fanbase and support from some of dnb's heavy hitters, he is undoubtably one of the best up and coming producers in the scene. His recent popularity has seen him release his productions on Soul Deep, Default and also including remixes and forthcoming collaborations with Smooth N Groove regulars A.K.A, Payback and Blade.

The 'Dangerous Minds' LP features 12 solid cuts of his latest and possibly best works to date! Jam packed with high energy dance-floor tear outs and nods to 90's rave culture. Dash delivers arguably our most highly awaited and anticipated releases of 2022.

The Tamworth native, and Soul Deep regular, comes through with another outstanding collection of Liquid magic.  With consistent releases on Soul Deep and Smooth N Groove, Payback has been creating a buzz with his stellar grooves and technical production skill.  The ‘Algorhythm EP’ kicks off with the title track, Algorhythm, which features perfectly syncopated and snappy drums, gritty mid-bass textures, and a rolling baseline that will move the masses.  “Echoes,” is up next and takes a slightly different approach.  The song is a bit more stripped back, featuring tough drums, a smooth rolling bass line, and growling mid-bassline that adds the necessary bit of edge to the tune.  “Talk Me Down,” is up next and features choppy breaks, pulsating basslines, floating pads, and gritty mid-bass textures.  The “Ganjababy” rounds things out with its shuffling drums, dirty bassline, and dubby effects that add to the texture of the song.
