this is what the Trailer Orchestra sounds like. My computer wasn't really strong enough to use a sound like this. The funny thing is my computer is actually maxed out to 64 GB of RAM and it goes beyond that. So I might not have been able to finish this song anyways. hopefully I can invest in a 128 GB RAM computer in the future. So I can do something like this. 

Ataku Zantas Is the strongest hero  character in my story. I will expand upon his description in the future I wasn't trying to reveal him this early in but I guess this would be a good sneak peek or preview of what's to come.

Modifying the basic presets beepbox gives you is actually really helpful cuz- they don't sound awful with tweaking!

'microtunes' is a collection of tracks written over the past year (with a few exceptions). this release originally contained over 30 tracks, but it has since been whittled down to a clean 26. each one is a distillation of my musical spirit. some are weird and complex, some are sweet and simple, some are straight up mean. all of them are me!


i have so much more music hidden away (mainly due to NDAs 💀). consider this release just the tip of the iceberg.

i have never felt more inspired to create, and that's in large part thanks to the digital fusion community. you've all contributed an immeasurable amount to my life and career. i have met some of my closest friends through this community the past few years. i'm not sure where i'd be without y'all.

as always, special thanks to the infernal abyss (adam, andrew, joey, matt, narek, nick) for their invaluable feedback and life coaching.

State Saved (Renoise Remake)

I started this track soooo long ago, but once I had it transcribed up to a bit before the first chorus, I knew from how that sounded that this was eventually going to be a project that was worth it. This has been a long time coming, and to me, finishing it is a bigger deal than figuring out whatever the hell Crescent Moon Village is even going to be. 
Some say that a first level's stage theme is incredibly important, and if you ask me, I think this will serve as a great-ass overture.

Things in particular that I like about this track as its own standalone track:
How fuckin' badass the "Shady's Back! Back! Back!" section sounds;
The combination of claps and E3 snares;
DEFinitely the combination of Snaps and D3 snares. That sounds dope as fuck. Originally it was just the snaps, but it lacked the punch heard in the original song's Hi-Hats;
The fact that this song's theme of 'returning after a while' matching with that of WL4II as a whole didn't even register until like two+ days after I started writing up the project;
How melodic and properly "flow-y" the note choices I made for the chorus's vocals (like the phrases and stuff) sound, given the source material.

Other things I like:
The inclusion of the wiew wiewekwewkeakwweaweaeh **BAM!** thing (that took a long time to transcribe, too-- writing the pitch-bend was killer, but it literally sounds JUST like the original if you set that preset to be that same kind of pulse wave);
The inclusion of Em's chikka-chikka sounds (it's a rather small detail but I still like it anyway-- same goes for all the sound effects that I opted to include, but these ones in particular stand out to me);
that including the bit from the end where Em laughs translated so seamlessly to that right-panned Daow channel;
other stuff as well
