Energetic grooves, funky synths and kick-ass percussions. Feel intrigued yet? We know it’s been a challenging year, but we will not be stopped from doing what we do best. Releasing music that gives us butterflies. And who better to set us off into the spring than our very own Mitch Dodge, hailing from beautiful San Diego? He is already a familiar face on SNOE, so all we really want to say is how excited we were when we got these phenomenal tunes in our inbox. 

Short and fierce, “Tell Me” leaves nothing to coincidence. In true Mitch-stye, the track is fresh and bodacious with the groove driving us forwards along an enthralling and dirty bassline. Secondly, “Keep Doing” gives us an acid inspired and naughty synth accompanied by rolling drums, keeping the mood vivid and positive. 

Aand it is spring, so of course we had to invite our favourite joker Cascandy to put his own twist on the release. And he did not disappoint. The Cascandy remix of “Keep Doin” is just how we love it, surprising, indefinable and immensely upbeat. Quirky and weird synths join elements from the original and an infatuating groove keeps us dancing along his little journey into Cascandy-land. This whole release leaves us bathed in sweat and endorphins.

Mitch Dodge - Tell Me (Original Mix)

We are ready with our second EP this year and are beyond excited to bring you this top-notch groove and bass monster. This guy first joined the SNOE family with his track “Chapter Three”, which quickly became a favourite in the DJ sets of Andreas Henneberg and Beth Lydi. By now you probably know who we are talking about? 

Boneb is back, and he is back good! “Darling No. 42” is a three tracker EP, bringing all the fierceness one could wish for. First off, “Blue (?)” comes bouncing off the walls. Tight drums and a dirty bassline gives you all the attitude you didn’t know you needed, and more. It delivers that undeniable Boneb energy where you just can’t stand still. 

Rolling in like a hot steamer to the station, “Darling” hits you right in the gut with its growl. Flicking synth elements are underlined by a massive bassline, accumulating to a bouncy groove. Nod your head, tap your feet. Actually, just surrender completely to this groove. There is no way to fight this little Ms. Naughty. 

Last but not least, “No. 42” is ready to sweep you off your feet. Again, Boneb shows why we love him so much here in the SNOE family. His groove is simply one of a kind. Immaculate drum work builds up under a heavy hitting bassline, accompanied by vocal cuts and gnarly synths. 

We see big things in store for this guy, and he does not fool around with his juicy beats. Please, unravel the madness and enjoy “Darling No. 42”!

Boneb - No 42 (Original Mix) // SNOE062

Always making music that reflects what she is going through in life, Beth is back on her imprint SNOE with two seducing, groovy and energetic tracks. She has found a new part-time home in the nordic city Harstad, bathed in the light of the midnight sun during summer and surrounded by the darkest dark in the winter. Drawing inspiration from the frozen mountains and the wild sea, she releases a hypnotic fairytale in “Nordic Gateway”. Rippling percussions and a bouncy bassline leads the way towards the all powerful synth and punctilious stabs driving ever so forward. We are seduced into a frenzy of sounds ready to take their grip on you.

In “Harstad” she strips it a bit back, although this does not mean slowing down. An infatuating groove rolls and growls forwards, met by an assemblage of soundscapes that sound like they are made by the little forest trolls themselves. We dive head first into a drop that builds up tension before being released by a vigorous vocal. She shows us, sometimes you don’t need all that glitter and glam to make proper music. Driving, fierce and incredibly groovy. That’s probably the only way to describe our new SNOE release. Susio you already know from the sick “Funktionality EP” that took the dancefloors across the globe by storm, and this time he has brought a new face to the family. Sitting down with his close friend and fantastic producer Dylan Andrew, the result just had to be a proper SNOE tune. We heard it for the first time during our live demo-listening session, and immediately knew we had to have it. The title track “Close” is ruled by a massive bassline, hypnotic synth plucks and energetic percussions that come together in a wild frenzy of sound and pressure. This tune is meant for those extraordinary dancefloor moments.

But, the party is not over yet! One of our favourite producers, Boneb, has joined in on the fun, putting his twist on the track “Close”. A rolling groove hits you right from the get-go in true Boneb style. The synths are weird and rough, the soundscape somewhat naughty. Layers come together, building up an exquisite tension that follows you into a big impact drop. It is the perfect combination of original elements and the style that makes him so unique.

We are very excited to finally release this one. Our world is slowly opening up and we can not wait to get on a dancefloor and just lose ourselves in music with you! And here are the perfect title tracks for it! Enjoy our SNOE065!

Dylan Andrew is a Producer and DJ based in Southern California, whose sound has been described as "Techno House" focusing across Techno, Dark Progressive, and Deep Minimal Tech genres. He has released across some of the most established techno labels in the US and across Europe, most notably with Alula Records, Alpaka, Rubik's Recordings, Desert Hearts Black, Evil Flow, Shadow Wolf, SNOE, Jannowitz and Jaw Dropping Records. He maintained residencies in San Diego and Los Angeles for several years prior to the pandemic, has been a staple in the Southern California techno and underground scenes, and has performed abroad in countries including Iceland, Ireland, Costa Rica, and Mexico. 

While Dylan has taken a hiatus from performing, he continues to fulfill his passion for music and the dance floor by continuing to focus on producing original music, with several projects expected to release in the back half of 2023.
