Considering the recurrent lineup changes, the trio Fabinho (bass / vocals), Luiz Oliva (guitar) and Rafael Jr. (drums) have been working together as SNOOZE for quite a while.
The original trio, formed back in 1993, pioneered the Northeast scenario in Brazil releasing the 1995 demo-tape debut and the first CD ("waking up ... waking down," Short Recs.), released in 1998 with a tour in Rio and Sao Paulo. Later established as a quartet, they began a partnership with Monstro Discos, playing at Goiania Noise Festival 2002 and 2006, promoting the second ("Let My Head Blow Up", Monstro / Short) and third albums ("Snooze", Monstro / Solaris Discos).
The new trio is now working on new material since their resumption in 2007, and since 2010 has been promoting every December a concert where they play classic repertoire from previous line-ups, test new songs and pay tribute to bands that have influenced them, like the tribute to Karne Krua held last edition.
The group's new release is an EP containing the unreleased song "Empty Star", and recordings made in recent years, as also live recordings and other curiosities.
