Der Berliner DJ bedient sich feinst erlesener Songs aus Genres wie (Afro)House, Neo-Soul bis hin zu Future Sounds und kreiert so einzigartige Sets. Der besondere Sound spiegelt sich in seinem unverkennbaren Gesamtauftritt wider. Sein Markenzeichen: die bunten Haare. Die Musik des kreativen Kopfes spielte bereits auf Fashionweeks in Metropolen wie Frankfurt am Main, New York City und Berlin. Durch den besonderen Stil in Temrys Sound ist seine Musik in ganz Deutschland hoch gefragt.

Temrys Liebe für Musik offenbarte sich bereits im jungen Alter von sieben Jahren, als er begann, Klavierunterricht zu nehmen. Im Laufe der Zeit wanderte sein Interesse von klassischer Musik über zu Clubbeats. Anfangs spielte das Musiktalent mit äthiopischen Wurzeln seine Lieblingssongs auf dem Keyboard nach, bis er vor sechs Jahren selbst zu komponieren begann. Mithilfe von YouTube-Videos brachte Temry sich das Produzieren bei und liefert nun Mixtapes, die jeden zum Tanzen anregen.

I really wanna get into the habit of recording sets again, so that outside my gigs you can still catch my vibe and listen to my sound no matter your location. This set marks the first of many to come in the new year. For that special occasion I had invited some people over to hang out, listen to my set and draw whatever they felt like drawing. Resident Advisor and Absolut join forces to bring you round three of Alternate Cuts, an event series celebrating the UK crews that keep their local nightlife scenes thriving. For little or no return, these promoters work tirelessly to bring their communities together. To celebrate this, we’ve collaborated with three crews to ask some of their favourite artists to play alternative sets. They’ll be exploring corners of their record collections that rarely see the light of day, in some of the best intimate venues in the UK.

On Thursday 4th April, we joined forces with Liverpool’s SisBis to host Jayda G at 24 Kitchen Street. She dug deep in a genre that’s been a huge influence on her musically - Rhythm & Blues. From its roots in blues through rock, psych, soul and hip hop, Jayda explored every part of the sound, from its inception right up to the present day.
