@josi_ane is a Congolese-born designer, creative, and DJ raised in Germany. She is the co-founder of “What a Playground”, a collective she initiated alongside Lena Brecht, where they actively promote FLINTA* and BIPoC artists through the lens of house music, a genre historically cultivated by minority communities. Together, they host a regular radio show at Refuge Worldwide and curate events at venues like Fitzroy or Orangerie Neukölln, all while empowering diverse voices in the local music scene that we all cherish. Additionally, Josiane hosts a bi-monthly podcast titled “Private Paradise” on Komrad Radio — don’t forget to check it out!

Info update 2024 : 
Old set of me and K.atou at Gem fest off stage

I'm leaving it because of a nice a crazy souvenir.

Long story short :  while the wind and thunderstorm were happening there, we had people grabbing the speakers to make sure they do not fall down... we played like this for hours... and people sharing the moment with us.  
Playing and managing weather was not more then INTENSE ;) 

Since then, sounds and selection evolved but the souvenir remained intact to a strong friendship. :) <3
