Nottingham’s very own DJ Terrex pairs up with legendary Nottingham star, Marita, best known from her 2008 hit “Geiom & Marita – Reminissin” which rose to fame after featuring on the game changing, Ministry Of Sound, “The Sound Of Dubstep” compilation, the track also went on to receive remixes from Skream and Kode 9. 

This new collaboration sees Marita bring the classic 1990 house track ‘La India - Lover Who Rocks You’ back to life in her own old school, soulful style. Paired with DJ Terrex providing a happy, bouncy, fair ground ride of an instrumental. Coincided with a full music video, and vinyl release courtesy of Nottingham based record label, Pond Life Party.

Over the last 4 months the track has gained amazing support from the fringe of the underground UK Garage scene on both radio, and in the rave. Including DJ EZ, Interplanetary Criminal, DJ Q, Notion, Riz La Teef, Main Phase, Dr Banana, Royal T and more.

August 2022 seen the launch of DJ Terrex, a collaboration project between artists DASEPLATE and J69, in this time the duo saw their debut single reach #25 in the iTunes dance chart, their debut vinyl release sell out in 3 hours, get signed to Earth Agency, and receive numerous radio and playlist support, including Kiss FM, Rinse FM, and Spotify’s Grime Shutdown playlist.
