Sequential Trigon-6, through ValhallaSupermassive and Delay.

Tri Lobed Eye

Sequential Trigon-6 synth, using all 3 VCOs for a sync FM sound. The triangle output from is VCO2 synced to VCO 1, and the triangle output of VCO3 (set an octave down from VCO1) is used to FM VCO2 via polymod. The result is a rich FM sound that retains the pitch center. Technically, this is "sync mod" where the sync frequency is being modulated at audio rates.

ValhallaSupermassive used for reverb, ValhallaDelay used for echo.

Trigon-6 Sync FM

Sequential Trigon-6. Oscillator 1 and 2 are set an octave apart. Oscillator 3 is set to LO KEYBOARD mode, and is used for an octave trill for Oscillator 1 and 2 via Polymod. The LFO is also used to create a 5th trill for Oscillator 1 and 2. A fair amount of feedback is used to add grit to the sound. 

Reverb from ValhallaSupermassive, and a bit of shimmer reverb from ValhallaDelay using the RichPitch mode.

Trigon - 6 LFO Phase

This song was improvised using MPE multi-touch to control analog modeled synths through a Frippertronics looper.  It was first performed at the Stellar Lounge astronomy concert which was a collaboration with the Colorado State Parks and Wildlife.

In other words, the song is inspired by experiencing the vast night sky.
