Nearly a year ago I released VERTIGO! It's crazy to think how far I've come since this toes in the water project came out. This was released during a very hard time for me and despite that I look back at this album with glee. It's got a very home-ish sound to it for me, combined with the fact that it released in one of the coldest winters ever in my country, it made this album super memorable for me to make. My main goal with this project was to fuse 2 opposite sides of experimental hip hop, the JPEGMAFIA-ish overwhelmingly loud beats and the depressing Earl Sweatshirt-ish side of production. It kind of failed in my eyes but what came out of that experiment was something that is truly personal to myself. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me when this album released and even a year after it released, VERTIGO! is still one of the most important parts of my online identity.

SPIRAL! [FEAT. BKING, SKILLED AK & BETRO]

Internet Explorer is the amalgamation of isolating myself for 3 months. Well, not completely, during my break off the internet for my mental health, it occured to me that the online space which i was mainly operating in had alot of flaws that NOBODY talked about. Not only that, but also the idea of the internet being dangerous is so unbelievably overlooked. This album is my personal to pimp a butterfly. And yeah, I know thats incredibly corny and I'll never be as good as Kendrick was on that album, but this is by far my most cinematic and impactful work. I don't regret a single word I said on here and I still stand by that half a year later.

Fucking Fuego! (Feat. Simplvy)

This is my favorite child. I wanted to make a project that sounded exactly how my city of Rotterdam feels and I fucking nailed it in my eyes. It also stresses alot of issues I have with politics, mental health and religion WAY better than VERTIGO! did. The production is very simple, which was people's main critique when this album dropped but unbeknownst to them, that was to amplify the power of the lyrics on here. In my opinion ive never written better in my entire life. This was going to have features and be the final "Fuck you" from my Soappao identity. But I realised keeping Soappao alive meant that people could avoid becoming me, and that's what this is all about.
