Produced in collaboration with engineer Miles Hanson at Creation Audio in Minneapolis, Soap focused on creating a landscape of songs that centered on the peaks and valleys we all experience each day of our lives. This constant struggle to keep ourselves in harmony with the chaotic world around us was the inspiration, and Soap has aimed to capture a part of it. From emotions of love and elation, to moments of anger and despair, it is a universal balancing act to which we can all relate. 

The Life We Live is a collection of experiences. Experiences to listen to and learn from; a collection of stories to relate to and tell again; a collection of rhythms to evoke a smile and dance. All of this, complete with a collection of guitar riffs that make you raise your arm and extend a rock fist in the air.

Life Is Strange est un jeu vidéo épisodique d'aventure graphique à la troisième personne se rapprochant du film interactif, composé de cinq épisodes, développé par Dontnod Entertainment et édité par Square Enix. Le premier épisode est sorti le 30 janvier 2015 sur PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 et Windows. Il est prévu que chaque épisode sorte six semaines après le précédent. Son développement a débuté en avril 2013, l'existence du développement du jeu a été annoncé le 11 août 2014 par Square Enix.

The sound of Soap has arrived.  Taking their unique brand of rock to new heights with confidence, What's In The Box? represents all sides of the Minneapolis quartet.  From Erich Krapf’s soaring guitar work on the opening number, “What the Truth Is”, to Ross Taylor’s dark, bass-driven “One Token”, to Skyler Krapf’s rumbling piano passage in “Traffic” and Austin Lee’s lead vocals on the tongue and cheek number, “That Guy” - the album is a fluid piece of work that will put a smile on your face and your arms in the air, strike an emotional chord within you and above all else, make ya shake yo moneymaker.

Sending the Soap sound into new territory, giving select songs studio variations, is the addition of a number of Minneapolis’ finest musicians: Jill Mikelson (vocals), Bettina Villamil (violin), Matt Probst (cello), Joseph McCauley (alto saxophone), Aaron Wiener (trumpet) & Adam Kraus (trombone).

Can I Stay

Like the band name, Soap’s music is undoubtedly fresh. With influences ranging from jazz, blues and funk to progressive, psychedelic and electronic, Soap skillfully fuses all of these genres into one – dance infused rock. Imagine going to a double matinee showing of Led Zeppelin & P-Funk at Dream Theatre and then heading to an Amsterdam discotheque to dance until the sun came up. That's about as close as can be described without seeing Soap for yourself.
