I saw the opportunity to put my own spin on Nurko and HALIENE’s remix competition for their track - “Retraced”. I wanted to capture the emotion of the original while pushing it into heavier territory, blending melodic dubstep with some harder stuff. This remix is my take on balancing the cinematic side of the track with the raw energy I love to bring out in my music.

Hey guys! This is my entry for round 5 of @elevationcomp , I hope you enjoy it, I definitely enjoyed participating in this years competition. I didn't really think I'd get this far, but thank you for your support nonetheless. You don't know how much this has meant to me. <3

One of the reasons why I decided to remix this track was because I fell in love with it when I first heard it. I thought that it could also do with a different, harder, and more melodic style. I also heard that Crywolf was having a tough month ahead of all the stolen equipment and stuff so I thought maybe this would cheer us all up. Anyways enough with the stories, hope you enjoy this.
