Dance music legends Dimitri Vegas & David Guetta are teaming up with American singer & actress Nicole Scherzinger and DJ/Producer Azteck to release the addictive house single, “The Drop”, which is now available as Dimitri Vegas’ second official solo single on all digital streaming platforms. The new track is accompanied by an adventure-filled official animated music video found HERE and follows Dimitri’s first official solo single, “Pull Me Closer.” 

Dimitri Vegas, David Guetta, Nicole Scherzinger, and Azteck have released hit songs in the past; however, it's the first time all four are collaborating together to shake up the music industry. It mixes legendary dance music artists Dimitri Vegas and David Guetta with Pop superstar Nicole Scherzinger and new age DJ Azteck to make the ideal song to please their fans,  both young and old. “The Drop,'' starts with a solid electro drum beat and hits the soul with engaging lyrics by Scherzinger’s distinctly harmonious vocals as it draws listeners into a break that heads into the climax and high percussive beats. The addictive tune will keep fans fully immersed in its house music vibes as it ends, leaving fans wanting more.

Brighton & Hove-based Zac Samuel has been a prolific producer, remixer and DJ for almost a decade now. Inspired by the UK House movement of the early 2010’s and heavily influenced by the music of Duke Dumont, Gorgon City and MK, the British-born artist has since carved out his own unique sound path, releasing a wealth of critically acclaimed records on the likes of Love Juice, Armada, Selected. and Eton Messy, amongst others. 

Signing to PMR / Polydor-Universal in 2014 for a handful of original singles, Zac has also worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry and has been commissioned for official remix work 
from the likes of Rita Ora, Karen Harding, Years & Years, Zara Larsson, Sigma, Jonas Blue, Jess Glynne, Liam Payne, Mabel and Toni Braxton, to name just a few. 

Now, following the incredible success of his 2021 hit single Wasting Time, Zac returns to Selected for his eagerly anticipated follow-up offering with Care At All. 

Drawing on his inexorable experience as a seasoned house producer, Zac delivers a crisp, radio friendly dance floor cut, brimming with old skool baselines, lively percussion, soulful vocals and a shuffling groove that drives the record across its blissful three-minute duration. We’re absolutely loving it.

Alok has collaborated with American artist Sevenn on new single ‘The Wall’, the first release on the Brazilian bass innovator’s new CONTROVERSIA label, out on Friday 28th June.

Marking Alok’s ninth musical release of 2019, the track samples the iconic “We don’t need no education!” vocal from the Pink Floyd classic ‘Another Brick In The Wall’. Replacing the 1979 original’s operatic prog rock with a sizeable dosage of Alok’s trademark uncompromising bass sound, ‘The Wall’ represents a high-octane first release for CONTROVERSIA, an imprint aiming to release underground electronic music with a particular focus on Brazilian bass and ethnic sounds.
