The word « Langa » means literally « sun »  in the Xhosa language, which is one of the official languages of South Africa. 
The voices are from my two little cousins, and funny fact, it was recorded with my iPhone :)

In the early morning she goes down to the local cafe
were she works as a Barista making coffee drinks all day
Her routine perhaps was just a silly superstition
but she had to touch the star on the wall
whenever she left through the kitchen

A seven pointed star made from a metal unknown 
that Genua had found in a high dee hole while walking alone
Upon her touch the star glows
perhaps it was all in her mind as everything goes

Late again, I could use a few more seconds to bring up my luck
Maybe the manager is busy with a delivery truck
I can sneak in and make some coffee 
as smooth as Meow's soft belly like running your fingers through smooth warm toffee

Through the door into another day she slips through time
She wonders why it never ends
Then the star on her wall comes to mind
suddenly finding herself standing far from the cafe she left behind
