November 'I Love Techno' DJ Mix 2013

Le Colony était un club situé rue Georges Bonnac à Bordeaux, en lieu et place de l'actuelle entrée du cinéma UGC.
Endroit totalement atypique, le Colony ouvrait de jour comme de nuit, accueillant sur sa piste de danse une clientèle adolescente la journée puis essentiellement gay dès la nuit tombée.
Le samedi 4 octobre 1986, la toute première soirée exclusivement house organisée à Bordeaux se déroula au Colony. En voici un (très) court extrait issu d'une K7 audio très abîmée de 30 ans d'âge, récemment retrouvée grâce à une ancienne adepte du lieu.  Seuls ces quelques minutes ont été récupérables...

Aux platines, c'est moi. Je débutais, j'avais 17 ans :)

Walter Sobcek is a French duo from Paris.

Since 2011, Sobcek have been generating serious blog heat around the world thanks to a handful of beautifully constructed official remixes (Housse de Racket, Bastille, Chilly Gonzales, Sebastien Schuller among others) and the release of 4 EPS (Je me souviens, Miami Midnight Crush, Take Off Your Shoes) which brought them also to mainstream exposure on french TV (M6, W9, MTV Pulse....)

In 2012, their cover of the Hall and Oates classic “She´s Gone” was picked by Les Inrockuptibles to feature on their covers compilation with among other Hot Chip, Brigitte and José Gonzalès.
2013: 2nd EP: "Miami" Music Vidéo by Diane Sagnier. Cover by Charlotte Le Bon.
2014, 3rd EP: "Midnight Crush" feat. Mereki. Remix (Synapson, CätCät...)
Sobcek produced the first EP of french hedonist-pop band Destin on Polydor / Universal Music.
