This is the first ever official release branded as "French House Club". The Collective exists since 2007 and was founded to promote talented underground producer. After a good start on myspace the project was much years on ice, but a decade later we reactivate it and after 2 years back on the screen we get in touch with Mac Stanton, the label owner of So French Records. He gave us the chance to realise this compilation, which we ever dream about.
In the last few years we found some new talented artists which became part of the family and we also reactivate our connections from back in the days. So we could select this collection of some marvelous fresh tunes and classic gems.
This collection is so versatile as the french house genre itself. So we start the journey with a smooth mood and came to funky disco sounds.

Walter Sobcek is a French duo from Paris.

Since 2011, Sobcek have been generating serious blog heat around the world thanks to a handful of beautifully constructed official remixes (Housse de Racket, Bastille, Chilly Gonzales, Sebastien Schuller among others) and the release of 4 EPS (Je me souviens, Miami Midnight Crush, Take Off Your Shoes) which brought them also to mainstream exposure on french TV (M6, W9, MTV Pulse....)

In 2012, their cover of the Hall and Oates classic “She´s Gone” was picked by Les Inrockuptibles to feature on their covers compilation with among other Hot Chip, Brigitte and José Gonzalès.
2013: 2nd EP: "Miami" Music Vidéo by Diane Sagnier. Cover by Charlotte Le Bon.
2014, 3rd EP: "Midnight Crush" feat. Mereki. Remix (Synapson, CätCät...)
Sobcek produced the first EP of french hedonist-pop band Destin on Polydor / Universal Music.
