1. The Harry Wolfman track, "The Ritual," toward the middle of your mix, is so beautiful. Organic. Spritual. Three Dimensional. When did you first hear it? And what did you think when you did? It's a very special track. Have you played it out? How does it sound? Do you wish more music sounded like this? Or is there a lot music that does? If so, can you list some other tracks like this one that you like? 
Oooh yes this track is Amazing. It reminds me of early tracks by one of my all time favorite producers, Pépé Bradock. All the EP deserves real attention. It is released on the sister label, Karakul, of the famous Phonica records store in London. I found this record on their web site, and I got a crush when I heard for it the first time at home...To find good music is a question of crush. This track is a mixture of creativity. It's not a pure dancefloor track but it works in the club and immerses people in a mystical atmosphere. I use this kind of track like a bridge between 2 different styles or universes of music. For example here in my mix I used it like a "dreamy" tool to make a bridge between a highly effective track from Rest Corp (a brand new project formed by Project Pablo and Khotin) and a rework from Zach Witness of the absolute genius Prince! This is a great version of this track "17 days" from the Piano & a Microphone 1983.... It's now available on Vinyl. The percussion of "The Ritual' works perfectly well to make a nice mix between. Spontaneously, maybe on Unthank, the sublabel of firecracker, you can find similar sounds...

Toujours à la recherche d'un nouvel univers, SOBEIKH ne peut s'empêcher d'imaginer de nouveaux mondes audiovisuels pour composer une musique électro/techno mélodique spatiale aux touches de Deephouse et d’Ambient. À travers ses morceaux il dévoile un univers sonore et cinématographique jouant avec un réel tranchant et une dimension onirique sur fond de science-fiction. Bercé par la scène Mâconnaise depuis son plus jeune âge, il fréquente assidûment la Cave à Musique et ses locaux de répétitions. Influencé à la fois par une expérience scénique en tant que batteur dans le groupe Mâconnais MAUVE CELESTINE et par le cinéma qu’il pratique et étudie, SOBEIKH partage une musique personnelle et contrastée, entraînante mais aussi planante, qui vaut à celles et ceux qui l'écoutent de se plonger dans un paysage singulier. Son premier opus de 5 titres appelé “Singularités”, mélodique et visuel, présente cinq pièces narratives, musicales et cinématographiques autonomes, ayant pour ambition de faire voyager son auditeur vers de lointaines contrées encore inexplorées. En harmonie avec sa musique, il a déjà réalisé et produit deux courts métrages expérimentaux travaillant le lien entre le son et l'image en dehors des frontières du clip. Il travaille actuellement sur un nouveau projet d’EP et sur un live symphonique où il sera accompagné par l’orchestre du conservatoire de Mâcon.
