"While putting the mix together I had an early morning slot in mind, taking over the decks to accompany the crowd after an already long night out - A situation which I miss like nothing else for more than a year now. As I am kept my daily routine finding new tracks, I have mixed my current favorite pieces of music out of my collection and tried to build a journey that will hopefully take place in reality again very soon. I recommend listening to the mix in one take! Thanks for having me and greetings from Cologne!"

Hailing from Bonn, Germany - Jonathan Kaspar is an integral part of the scene in Cologne. He is a resident at the city's renowned Gewölbe club and also one of the current main figures at the legendary Kompakt label. While Kaspar is constantly reinventing himself, he continues what he loves the most - being a DJ and producer!

Kaspar loves to play extra-long DJ sets building up a journey together with the crowd. Holding a residency at one of Germany's main spots in regards to underground electronic music clubs, Gewölbe, he regularly invites national and international guests to play extended nights with him while his busy DJ schedule has been built around that. 2021 started off with his much-acclaimed follow-up EP for Kompakt, including the track "Beton" which reached #1 in the Beatport Indie Dance chart for several weeks.

Sobek & Mulya are on their way to the next DAAD Gathering, where they will treat us to an exclusive b2b set. SOBEK is not only known for his Egyptian crocodile god's name, but also for deconstructing glossy polished originals with his unrivaled remixing talent and creating innovative and thought-provoking original music across many sub genres, earning him support from some of the biggest names on the scene like Pete Tong, Dixon, Ame, Adam Port, Black Coffee and Adana Twins. In 2021 he founded the Complaint Kulture label together with long-time friend and studio partner Mulya. MULYA, a progressive mastermind with a father who’s an opera conductor, his destiny was written. Hit by the wind of the progressive house movement, Mulya dug deep into harmonies and melodies around the late 2000’s. Keeping the flow of rolling synth lines and complex productions, he stepped out with his first EP ”Marvin” on MoBlack Records; the tune played by a wide range of A list artists from different genres and created a huge wave through the summer of 2017, followed by a brilliant three-tracker at Super Flu’s Monaberry, a sonic message from future galaxies. Don’t expect else than heavy drums, accurate production and deep vibes from the man behind the name MULYA.

We are more than excited to be back with our first episode of our Kollektiv.Liebe podcast series for this year. This time we want to introduce you the mix by our two beloved friends @marliblue_sofyah called "Solstice / Mixed Feelings". 

Have you ever heard of this remarkable moment when you feel both pleased and not pleased about something at the same time? It is pretty much the same as a solstice, when the Sun appears to reach its most northerly or southerly excursion relative to the celestial equator on the celestial sphere.

How many of us look at the time and it is always 22:22 or 11:11 and so on? For some people, it doesn’t mean anything and they call it a simple coincidence, but for others like me, or other ‘Flow-ers' it means that you are at the right place, merging with the flow of life or that someone is thinking of you! I locked myself up for this 3:33:33.33.33 sets (yes it’s all about details)standing in front of my CDs, and CDJs, and started recording this set. It all started with a joint and ended up in a disco-ish party passing through some weird, joyful and acid-ish flows. This set is a good representation of what I love to play depending on the gigs. A wide range of carefully selected music and a lot of upcoming tracks, collabs, edits and remixes produced over these last two crazy years! You are at the right place and I am thinking of you and our next dances. Time to let it flöw and enjoy the journey! - @rammomusic

Peer Kusiv is a music producer from the North of Germany. At a young age, he developed a keen interest for various music genre. Ranging from classical music, jazz and pop to thumping 90s Euro techno – these diverse influences significantly shaped young Peer’s artistic development. From the age of 12, Peer experimented with producing music and soon realised he found his lifelong passion. He developed his unique style early: Composing own melodies and playing most instruments himself, Peer Kusiv blends different samples and music genres into his distinctive soundscapes. In 2012, Peer managed to blur the lines between genres with his debut album “Natur und Techno“ and set the bar high for others to follow. His use of somber synthesizers in combination with composed tunes on classical instruments is beautifully balanced and present in all 12 tracks.The last years, Peer concentrated on several EP´s and remixes on Labels like Kittball, Einmusika or Parquet-Recordings. Peer’s unique style has earned him much respect in the music industry and his live sets have been celebrated at festivals and shows in numerous renowned clubs around the globe.
