این ظاهراً اولین شعری است که پس از ۱۹ بهمن ۱۳۴۹ درباره‌ی واقعه‌ی سیاهکل گفته شده و به نظر می‌رسد با فاصله‌ی اندکی پس از آن ضبط شده یا لااقل ضبط آن پیش از انقلاب و به صورت زیرزمینی بوده، چون تا آنجا که شواهدش موجود است، در هیچ‌کدام از نوارهای رسمی فداییان پس از انقلاب اثری از آن نیست.
به هر ترتیب به لحاظ  زبان نمونه‌ی خوبی از گفتار آن زمان است، پیش از آنکه این گفتار در هزارتوهای تاریخ‌نگاری مکتبی و رسانه‌ای گم  شود.
