We in Trinidad and Tobago have discovered the true meaning of happiness in life.
In fact it was no surprise that the UNSDSN's World Happiness Report for 2013 ranked us as the happiest country in the Caribbean, and the 31st in the world. Especially with factors like 'someone to count on', 'generousity', 'healthy life expectancy' and the 'freedom to make life choices' being used as measures to determine our inner joy.
Reflecting this light-hearted island atmosphere is Machel Montano's first official release for the Carnival 2014 season.
HMA (Happiest Man Alive), reminds us that the ultimate success lies inside our souls and the only path to that bliss is to simply forget the worries around us and live the life you are blessed with, an art perfected by Trinbagonians.
Gamal "Skinny Fabulous" Doyle, Alex "Kubiyashi" Barnwell, alongside Machel Montano wrote this infectious track, which was produced by Barnwell.

Machel Montano - Ministry Of Road (M.O.R)(Soca 2014)

In a unique circumstance Carnival 2014 will coincide with the creation of a new "MINISTRY OF ROAD".	

This is the dream of Machel Montano and Precision Productions, as they team up with P.A.G.E and 1ndividual Aesthetic to launch the campaign for the establishment of this Ministry via the release of their Power Soca theme song "MINISTRY OF ROAD". It also marks the beginning of the King of Soca’s candidacy for the "MINISTER OF THE ROAD". 

The vibrant song, with its exhilarating lyrics, represents in the purest form, the voice of masqueraders, whose call for M.O.R will be soundly reverberated this Carnival season. A musical campaign has been built solidly upon one simple slogan, which embodies the manifesto of the movement:

"WE WANT M.O.R!!!" 
Essentially the MINISTRY OF ROAD’s mission is to execute the following directives received from our beloved masqueraders.

ONE

To expand the parade route and allotted time for masqueraders to overtake the streets for Carnival.

TWO

To alter the parade routes eradicating masquerader traffic, especially when approaching the savannah and alongside the Port of Spain General Hospital.

THREE

To increase the time masqueraders are permitted to occupy the grand stage.
 

The launch of M.O.R (MINISTRY OF ROAD) is only the beginning of this Carnival-long melodic crusade that will culminate on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th of March in a victory rally throughout the twin isles of Trinidad and Tobago.	

Look out for even M.O.R as our candidate hits the campaign trail and we give you the one portfolio and ministry you will never get enough of.

In life we tend to rely on the next day, or the next month to do the things we promise each other, and ourselves, leaving many things undone, and our dreams never realized. In this new record, Skinny Fabulous, Kubiyashi, London Future & new vocalist Leanne Thomas have decided to live like there is no tomorrow at all. The song begins with Leanne singing in sweet unison on the charming keys of a grand piano, Skinny Fabulous then interjects with his signature “Boom!” signaling the start of his verse. His vocals, perfectly tuned, backed by the grand piano, carry the first verse to the hook where other musical elements are then introduced, building up into a crescendo at the chorus. 

In the song, Skinny Fabulous experiences the wonders, value, energies and vivaciousness of LIFE often reflected in carnival and mas as everything unfolds and comes alive. Producers Alex ‘Kubiyashi’ Barnwell + Kurtis "London Future" Wells, aptly conveys this with the theatrical and cinematic production of beats and various strategically timed musical instruments. 

What sets the song apart though, is the wealth of soul transmitted in the song, “Like No Tomorrow” goes beyond its role as a soca tune to encourage listeners to adhere to the power of ‘Now’ as Skinny Fabulous sincerely appeals to his listeners to live their life to the fullest every day, Like there’s no tomorrow. Party Like, Drink Like, Live Like, Fete Like, Work Like, Love Like... there’s NO TOMORROW!

After idling for an entire year, Antigua's Summer Festival is once again raring and ready to go!

Thankfully, Tizzy and El-A-Kru alongside Precision Productions are releasing what can only be called the perfect soundtrack to get bodies moving incessantly all season long.

"Crank It" was written by Patrick "Mista Vybe" Gordon, who is highly sought after for his timely, creative lyrics and who definitely did not disappoint with this one.
