Bob Dylan was firmly in his "Jesus Is Coming" period when the 1980s began.  Audiences that flocked to his concerts were stunned to learn they had to sit through an entire show of gospel songs, without a single oldie in the mix. They also got to see an absolutely killer band, and Dylan singing with incredible passion and force. The show often wrapped up with Dylan at the piano belting out this song. The gospel number has been covered by acts including John Doe of X and the Chicago Mass Choir, and it deserves to be sung at every church in America. Don't get too tripped up on the message. Give it a listen.

Yachya Wacked, Robin Hutagaol, dan Jorghi Soebagio adalah formatur dini Grausig era demo rekaman langsung single Doomsday. Dua nama pertama merupakan bagian dari Sucker Head. Wacked adalah vokalis awal, Robin merupakan drummer di album The head sucker. Rivalitas antara Sucker Head dan Grausig ditunjukan dalam produktifitas karya. Dekade 90-an, Sucker Head meluncurkan empat karya album sementara Grausig tiga album (termasuk album Vision of Enslaved Upon my Lizard Side yang tidak pernah masuk dapur rekaman). Dua kelompok musik ini berperan membentuk skena musik ekstrim bawah tanah Jakarta selain nama-nama seperti Rotor, Getah, dan lainnya. Sementara Bandung akhir '80-an, Rudal sedang menggeliat dengan progresi skill speed metal/thrash metal/heavy metal-nya berbalik dengan Benny Soebardja yang meredup di era ini setelah perjalanan panjang The Godfather of Indonesian Progrock Underground tersebut sejak dekade '60-an

Boogie-woogie was played in honky-tonks and rent parties on the South Side of Chicago in the 1920s but gained national attention only in the late 1930s. The height of its popularity was marked by a 1938 concert in Carnegie Hall, New York City, featuring its most prominent interpreters. It declined rapidly after World War II.
