Talking like politicians, when it’s really it’s entertainment,
And the market’s gated, So it’s hard to break in,
Cuz prices higher than the elevation, on the top of Everest
and still be raising, and they firing the dedicated
so they don’t gotta pay no severance
and everything is over-saturated, everywhere’s the evidence
And nowadays everything is automated,
Back then it was Limewire and Kazaa, they became the meta
until Pirate Bay popped up and that really took sail,
You can download anything that you wanted
And Mega Upload, it made a monster,
In seconds, you could access, anything ever thought of,
And Blockbuster went out of business,
Red Box became the new wave, that lasted two days,
Until Netflix and Spotify knocked it off it like a toupee
Yeah, We could afford to consume again
Everybody started tuning in
We found a solution, to minimize how much we spent
But that didn’t last long - huh, cuz it became a trend
Then every company wanted in,
So it became, the same as rent
Cuz everybody had to make they’ own service,
Now we taking out loans, just to watch commercials
Gotta sign up with this one, with that one
Gotta be a million platforms
Gotta pay extra just to have no ads,
I swear none of these - companies have backbones
Yeah, You want HD- then that’s an ADD ON
Now piracy is back on, Jailbroken, hacked phones,
Cracked apps, zip files, and torrents ready to download
Video converters, all you need is a URL
You see the warning on the DVD, blue screen you can end up in JAIL Like them companies ain’t rich enough?
Put us in JAIL, and who gone’ pay for that? US!
The rich stay rich, and the poor stay poor
That’s how it was rigged,
Everything is set up to be, hard to afford
