Following on from the milestone 50th release, John Dahlbacks Mutants Records is back with another helping of uplifting progressive house set for release June 22nd.

In 2014 Wissam Majed was diagnosed with ALS disease changing his life forever. Having grown up with the likes of 4 Strings, ATB and Kaskade, music has always held such an importance for Wissam however it took until 2012 for him to enter the studio, upon which WEES was born. Over years of perfecting the art, the arrival of Mustapha in late 2014 gave that extra push to take the project to the next level. 'Lifeline' is the first creation of this newly formed relationship and sets out to make a change to those in a similar situation as Wissam with all proceeds going directly to HopeNowForALS.org, a charity driven to finding the cure.

"ALS is a devastating disease that can effect literally anyone. Your body falls apart and your mind remains sharp. There are no approved effective treatments. We need to put an end to this cruel disease and hopenowforals.org will lead the way. What keeps me going is the love of my family, friends and dance music."

'Lifeline' opens with a simple yet effective bass and kick drum combination, the white noise begins to build and you’re lowered into a delicate, piano driven breakdown, partnered with an enchanting vocal you'll be immediately transported into a calm sense of ecstasy. Reverb soaked snares soon arrive to begin the climb towards the opening drop as the arrival of the lead melody builds the anticipation ever more before finally the tension reaches a maximum and a quirky, snare dominated fill announces the drop. Soaring melodies carry you along the 'Lifeline' journey as a pulsating bass line locks in with the kick and hats to deliver an irresistible groove to complete the package.

'Lifeline' has been created to help others and help bring a stop to this terrible and life changing disease.
